- Changing out eyes in a Dollfie Dream doll is a really easy way to personalize your doll and give her a completely new look! I made this video to show that it's not difficult or scary!
Sorry for going off-camera a bit. This was a one-take only video - heh!
The "click" you hear around me describe around 1:59 is the sound of the hot glue detaching from the inside of the head. When you squeeze the vinyl head gently, it cause the glue to separate from the head, which makes it easier to remove.

No - the Rise Kujikawa Dollfie Dream was only available at the Volks Tokyo Dolpa (Dolls Party) in May earlier this year, or through the online lottery on the Volks website. She's no longer available for purchase, but can sometimes be found in "aftermarket" places like Yahoo Japan Auctions, Mandarake and eBay.
The standard models (i.e. non-lottery dolls) from Volks can be found here on their website - but it appears they are out of stock at the moment.
I got my "one and only vinyl grail" Hatsune Miku doll almost a year ago, and I wanted follow-me eyes for her. I finally found some in the color I wanted, and I was afraid to take her default eyes out. Your tutorial made it super easy to do! Thank you. 💚

A very useful video, thanks for doing it. I can't seem to find one of those knives on the Volks store, but I can make-do with something similar.
Is there any particular reason you use the ear-plugs as a "glue"? I was thinking I would use blutack when I change mine, but now I'm worried it may have some undesirable effect. Though since it isn't visible I'm not really worried about staining or whatever. Still, curious!

do you still have those old eyes? they're absolutely gorgeous and if you still have them I may be able to purchase them off of you once I'm moved and settled in a few months...
Would you recommend immediately removing the default eyes? I read somewhere that the longer I wait, the harder it is to remove or the more residue is left behind.
Uhhh, yeah what u heard was pretty accurate... (030) its best to remove first thing but like she said, just use a tool to remove old eyes.

+Krimson I've actually had a lot of trouble finding "the right" eyes for Rin. I've been changing them periodically every time I find something newer that I like better... With that said, she's aways worn 22mm eyes.

But keep in mind there like 400 usd or 700 aud so there very expensive

is dollfie dream for kids?
KittyLover 1341 I think as long as you have the money and know how to care for them, they're for any age (though you'd need to be careful, as some of the body's may seem adult and make kids, or parents uncomfortable)

but sometimes they don't have them and you can just take them off so it really depends on why type you get
