What not use one of these: EC11EBB24C03 Dual-Shaft Axis Encoder With Push Button Switch?

It's just because the self made version is cheaper.

I just need to get the files for this , is there a way to buy just this file without becoming a member?

Sorry, because I have to list up every single selling in my annual tax declaration I'm not going into selling single files.

Have you tried the ALPS ec11ebb24c03 dual rotary encoder?

Costs about 20 Euro but saves you a lot of time and troubly building your own. Sometime its better to buy something instead of DIY everything. My2Cents.... Andy

Like Andreas said, if it is worth for you to spend the money and save the time and maybe frustration, then you should buy them professional made. In this case I reached the goal really quickly with only a little bit of testing.

    Sorry out of topic
I want to know how you laser cutting or engraving the acrylic
Is fusion 360 could be use for laser cutting or engraving? If it can, the laser cutting need 3D or 2D design?,i mean, is the design must be extrude or just 2D drawing?
    Thank you

I don't know if it can be used to control the laser but I'm using it to create the needed files for it. A laser is operating in 2D, so a normal drawing is all you need. You should have a look at the channel of "Product Design Online". There you will find dedicated videos about preparing Fusion files for your laser.

Just curious why not use the dual centric encoders by Leo Bodnar?

Maybe the 25 EUR higher price, compared to my diy encoder.
