Hi, I do not see any External IP assigned to my VM instance. In firewall settings HTTP(s) traffic is off. But I do not have rights to modify it, from the admin. How can I access this VM from VS Code?

How to trouble shoot connection timed out error?

Sounds like an issue with ssh. Make sure you can ssh into the server normally through your terminal.

@@rickardstureborg2855 When clicking on the SSH button on GCP, I can connect to the VM. But when trying to connect with my local terminal using ssh command I get the connection timed out on port 22 error. Made sure the identityfile was my private key and the vm had access to the public key too. Weird because I can connect to a different GCP instance easily. Wonder if it has to do with firewall issues but those are set up by my company so I just gave up.
