Muizenberg is a beach-side suburb of Cape Town, South Africa. It is situated where the shore of the Cape Peninsula curves round to the east on the False Bay coast. It is considered to be the birthplace of surfing in South Africa and is currently home to a surfing community, centered on the popular 'Surfer's Corner'.
Today it is a very lively meeting location in the community of all ages centered around surfing, don't let this stop you from enjoying a walk along the beach or a stroll to St James and Kalk Bay. Lots of breakfast and lunch options here.

Those colourful huts were used as "change rooms" by people who rented them from the Council............Leonard below is spot on!

Does anyone know what they colorful huts on the beach are for? Do ppl live in those?

They're called 'bathing boxes', where people change into their beach clothes. They're very dark, damp and sandy inside.
