The reason why the old games have much better performance according to thier time & technology is that their employees were treated as hell to make that for eg whenever good game was released many employees quit the job because of mental illness, old developers have said this that sometimes they didn't even got to see daylight for many weeks

Even in India game industry is same. Kwalee company develops a casual game just in a week. One of my friend told me that the employees over work there and some of those are leaving this industry. Even in my company many developers are artist left. Some of them decided to change job to something else
One of the companies I like personally is capcom , I played the Resident evil series and found it amazing and they also don't preseaurise there dev to work for long hrs .....
