This is one of those amvs that doesn’t have a clear thesis, but it works better than most just going for an aesthetic. Plus I noticed quite a few little editing things that were cool, like how the explosions in his hand are synced up with the guitar; that was pretty cool! There were tons of little touches like that sprinkled in this video, it really makes it great even if there isn’t a core thesis beyond “McSplody thinks very highly of himself”
this is so perfect. i wish i could like it at least 500 times. i thought it was funny at first but as i kept watching i started to realize how well this songs actually fits bakugo. thank you so much for making this, this video was honestly so enjoyable.
he's the reason I started watching mha and tbh I love him more as the show goes on, such a strong and powerful character, I hope he learns to express himself properly but obviously not lose his cockiness, it's his charm (;

I tried watching mha a couple years ago but I've never been a big fan of super hero shows so i wasn't that interest in it at first... And at the time I felt like i had to watch it for something and when i feel like i have to watch a movie/show or read a book instead of watching/reading it because I want to, i tend to not like it as much as when I want to watch/read it so after I think four episodes i stopped watching it..... Then one day, a little over a year ago I was talking to a friend about black clover and we got talking about VA's and how Langris' English VA is Bakugou's VA.... I was like "It is?" And looked up clips of Bakugou and watched a little bit of a "Bakugou funny moments" video and was like "OH MY GOSH IT IS!!!" Our conversation went on for a little while after that then i decided to give MHA a second chance.... After a few episodes I was like "I can't believe i'm saying this but... I think Bakugou's my favorite character.... I feel like I'm being mean to Deku....." I haven't regretted giving it a second chance once! And it became the first manga I've ever owned too... Although I only have one volume at the moment.... 😞 lol I plan to get the rest eventually.
The timing of many cuts, as well as in-scene to what Bakugo does, is really in time with the music, as well as certain scenes with the lyrics (especially the award ceremony bit, it's exactly perfect, huge kudos). It's a nice attention to detail, so nice job!! Love the song ofc, it fits him quite well too.
I still love this song and the video is great, but I can just imagine him doing the thing - hitting the water. The water would probably be Midoriya if it's him 😂 still love the video tho
