For the True Any& category you wanna aim on getting the cracked sapphire key at floor 1-1. For Any% (Glitchless) you wanna get Double Trouble on floor 1-1 or 1-2. I got very lucky as it dropped from the boss, but normally you want to get Nox to spawn and take the item from him.
They are homing, meaning its easier to stun the councils as well as Sura during the fight. It also allows me to ''target'' adds while fighting a normal floor boss. Their charged version also applies debuffs like slowness, burning, poison and frozen ect.
For this speedrun i used the cloak: Tempo Mostly because the reduced cooldowns and movement speed. Another and better option would be Venture however. The downside of that cloak is the -40% max HP. But since you get 1 hit anyway it makes no difference.
In this run i use the cursed relic: Chaotic Comedy which can be obtained from Nox at the Plaza. Nox becomes available once you have defeated the trials at least once in the game. Chaotic Comedy makes the user kill everything with 1 hit, but also makes you 1 HP. Meaning that you could die easily if you are not careful.
Speedruns with the cursed relic from Nox at the plaza are still valid. Just not for Any% (Glitchless). This run is for the category True Any%, which does allow them.
That Floor 1 Saphire Key... I don't think there is a better RNG.

Its the Cracked Sapphire Key. Which teleports me to the boss room at the start of each stage in the trials.

Why do cursed relics matter?
Natalie Chambers I’m talking about the cursed relics he grabs in the beginning before he enters. Usually for a run you wouldn’t use them
