I’ve always felt like this video could’ve used more focus (in fact, a friend of mine gave me a lot of great feedback and I didn’t follow most of it because I was still learning how to make videos like this). And I also think I should’ve made the third section it’s own video, because, to me, the writing is best in the section about Mother. That said, I’ll always have a soft spot for this video, and I’m glad you liked it!
My fav ever intromovie is to my fav game ever Baten Kaitos for Gamecube. The intro movie is so good. For me back then the graphics were mindblowing, the music, the story. I can speak it word by word. I almost fainted when the remake was announced and i was hyped when i booted it up the first time-... and they had remade the voicelines ?! I nearly cried. They were pronuncing everything differently :

The feeling subsided, turns out the answer was a well crafted and entertaining look at videogame intros. I should have known. Great Vid, Wonderful, I Laughed, I giggled, and I learned. My first time playing breath of the wild i stayed 5 hours at the plateau not knowing how to activate the shrines and not knowing how to get to the snow shrine
I also struggled with the snow shrine!! I wish I could play that game again for the first time. I bought it at midnight on the day it came out and played it for 7 hours lol
I played 80% of twilight princes before my file got accidentally deleted and I never restarted in large part because of the seemingly endless intro section. They should have just played the melee intro and plopped me 2 hours into the game

I had the same experience for enter the gungeon as You did with isaac (i knew some stuff about the roguelike before playing it) i remember not being able to beat the 4 floor with a rainbow chest and only after 200 hours i beat the game.

I just looked at your video titles, and most of them seem like pods or random talks (at least older ones seem like that). But if you're going to make more videos like this going forward, then I'm subscribing for sure. Also, Skyward Sword has shortcomings, but it's still a great game n people give it credit for. It still doesn't take away from your valid point on its tutorial start.

I'm also going to continue my Mother 3 series when I can, but there will be no further podcasts or chats on this channel. and for what it's worth, I do think Skyward Sword has one of the best, if not the best, story in the Zelda series. Characters actually DEVELOP, which is more than plenty of Zelda games can manage :P I did have more thoughts on Skyward Sword in the original cut of this video, but they didn't quite make it into the final product. anyway, thanks again for your content! more videos like this one in the future :)

I think you have a great voice (litteraly and figuratively) and your essay was very entertaining, so I'm looking forward to your growth and I hope you reach a high viewer and subscribtion number. Also, I hope you share your thoughts on SwS in a later video that you didn't get to express here. Oh.. and I'm not a TH-camr (obviously..... hopefully one day), but I think making shorter videos freqently first (in essay format, or just share some thoughts with good edits and having a minimum level of entertainment value) is the best way to grow as you're starting out. long videos like these takes trust from viewers, like Scott the Woz for example, he started out making 10-20 min videos, then when he got a sizable audience, then he started making 30-60 min videos. It was a mirecal that TH-cam recommended your new video to me (despite being 3 days old), but I don't think many people could have been turned off by the video length once they saw it. Again, I'm not an expert, just sharing my thoughts.

Its funny--the original script for this video would have made it nearly 90 minutes long, so I definitely need to practice making things shorter, if only just to produce content more frequently. Luckily, a lot of the writing for my next video or two already exists in a rough draft form (continuing the video intro theme), and I also have two reviews I want to create. If I can get two videos out by the end of the year, I'll be happy. As time marches on, I appreciate Scott the Woz more and more, so I'm glad you pointed him out! Gungeon is honestly sooooo difficult, though. To this day I've only successfully beat the game once!! :p Hades and Isaac I'm decent at playing
