One of the greatest photographers ever. So inspiring, so true. I loved his way of seeing women, and his unique style. I have a few of his albums and I love to spend time looking at his photographs. R.I.P. Peter.

Hey, may I ask how much Photoshop do you guys use?
@@chandrapandey822 it depends. the idea of the photo, the model, the light, the customer. For my photos: I spend around 15 minutes
So moving, comprehensible... and professional. It's amazing !
He marked an era, his style was unique and real.. beautiful art/photography. He was about authenticity and real, sometimes raw beauty. Loved his work and his style, wish he took a photo of myself, would've been such an honor. May he rest in peace....part of a fashion era is gone, so sad. Have a safe journey Peter🌷
This is a wonderful tribute to Peter Lindbergh. Thanks for this! :-)
We met in our hometown Duisburg when he was still Peter Brodbeck. His father Werner was my father in law.For me the greatness of Peter was his ability to keep his personal life far away from the fame and fortune life as a star photographer.
A great guy who we all miss a lot.
I didn't know he had passed. Such a sadness right now...I loved his works more than any other artists in photography. He was my inspiration when I was a photographer. I wish I had met him. Good luck my dear...The Universe, now, is the limit
Thank you, such a beautiful portrait of a beautiful person, and great artist. Very inspiring. RIP, never to be forgotten.
I remember the pre-supermodel era, looking at various glamour magazines wondering why the models' names were never mentioned. Lindbergh certainly helped change that. I love his work. Ironically, what I love is that he often makes the supermodels look like real people in candid situations, rather than the perfect, posed, mannequin-like models of previous eras.
"He opens up a place within people they didn't even know they had". May You Rest in Peace...
Thanks A LOT FOR YOUR CONTENT, I LOVE YOUR DOCCIES AND CONSISTENCY
So moving and beautiful. RIP maestro Lindberg
He had what most don’t, knowing how to put the subject in the right time right place!
Brilliant and down to earth, that's a rare combination, especially in his field! A life lived well. Kudos Herr Lindbergh!
Exceptional piece. Loved every second.
My inspiration to pick up a camera, my mother was a seamstress and brought his book home when I was a teenager. RIP 🙏🏾💕
Mr. Lindbergh re-defined fashion photography and set the bar very high for those to come.
Ich bin total begeistert 👍👍👍 Er war wirklich einer der Größten ! - in jeder Hinsicht. Nicht zu vergessen, - ein super Video 👍👍👍
Beautiful photos you left
R.I.P Sir.

Gutes Video! Habe seine Ausstellung in München gesehen. Kommt total gelassen und sympathisch rüber der Peter.
Thanx for inspire~!Big Master of photography!
Nice tribute, RIP Mr. Lindbergh.
I had a nice time watching this documentary :)
R.I.P to this true Master pf photography ...massive loss !! :(
Finally in english! thank you so much!
I must say that Lindbergh’s style of photography suits me because when i was at art school majoring in photography that’s how i did it too. I believe his works must have influenced me somehow. As a naturalist, i didn’t use make-up for the models and used natural lighting only. He made it look easy and simple but a lot of preparations go into each shot.
Can’t wait to watch
R.I.P Peter 🙏 Prayers for his family and friends [*]
The photographer that influenced an entire generation rest in peace peter

“Unity and The Big Picture he thrives on”
Truly saw beyond and found the real beauty in life. What an honor
Peter thank you, you are kind, thoughtful and a genius.
Rip big man. Loved and still love your work
When you figured out how to put together the subject, the lighting, in the right environment... you got the picture that you will call your own. That's the secret of a great photos.
Amazing Photographer... and individual. R.I.P.
Peter Lindbergh ist mein Favorit....damals und heute ❤
He seems like a cool dude. I admire the solo focus in life.
Peter Lindbergh is the only reason I'm transitioning into fashion photography. Thanks for the inspiration.
The wrong reason then. The fashion industry is full of fake primadonnas and narcissists
Awesome from 28:30 on. Interesting throughout
It was interesting...never thought about it that way, and I agree with what he said.
An amazing photographer and an amazing humanitarian.
Does anyone know the trumpet tune in the background?
Genius. Extraordinary. Amazing ❤❤❤peace joy.
Inspiration ❤️
😪 R. I. P. ❤️
thank you
He was the Blade Runner of photographers ,RIP!
love thanks
Brilliant!!!
odd example with Churchill and the cigar as he hated to be taken in photo. The famous photo with the cigar took some wit form Karsh as he made him mad to get that shot...
Great creator artist in the area of the image.
comment avoir des ,infos sur la bande son utilisée dans cette vidéo notamment la voix magnifique et pleine d'émotion de cette chanteuse que je ne connais pas, Merci de me donner ces références musicales
Amazing
35:28 Listen to those clicks. No flash + photo burst + great lens = genius 🤷🏽♂️

GRACIAS
I love this guy
a genious ! I use to say GENIOUS never die
A poem in any foto.........
No silly gearholic syndrome here about eye autofocusing Sony mirrorless cameras etc.
Just raw skills.
Skill is always a winner. I wish I had taken photography up in my teenage years. Guys like this make me so jealous! :)
We are a lot of people not knowing about this. Does make me sad.
🖤
where can i find more from these photos of the models at the cafe?

Peter Lindbergh - The Eye
16:40 Photography is a fantastic way of excessing yourself
Peter Lindbergh was unrivalled, but he was not the only famous German photographer during that period (like this headline states). Ellen von Unwerth was also in that distinct group. She took memorable photos of all the supermodels.
Legend! s2
"Oh! Naomi"
Anybody know who edits his photos?
Can someone name the district where the Casey Legler photos where taken?
Where can I find the film Peter Lindbergh - Women's Stories (2019)?
Где найти фильм "Питер Линдберг - Женские истории" (2019)?
Hi @denim355,
Unfortunately that is not one of our films.
Best,
The DW Documentary Team
I think it should be standard practice for content uploaders to post the titles in the soundtrack
❤️😢🙏
He was a great photographer / art director - one of several that ushered the Supermodel into our pop culture! What a life fashion photography afforded him. With the advent of digital photography and his 35 mm cameras/long lenses I felt Peter lost his edge & intimacy becoming a snapper who laid on the shutter button shooting 20 frames every 2 secs. R.I.P. Herr Lindbergh!
Those who wonder what lenses he used, I believe one was a 24-70 f2.8 and the bigger one was a 70-200 f2.8. Correct me if I am wrong.
why are those lenses so long? the pictures even look like 50-85 max
All that equipment. Geez I want it
Now I am a TH-camr but I have a great wish to be a photographer also
nice
Subtitles please, spanish or english Please
He is my master!!!
Mein tiefstes Beileid Peter Lindbergh .................. Toymiko
with which lens did he shoot?
The larger of the lenses is the Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VRII. The camera looks like a D810.
What happened to the other video, the one with Vouge America and the rich models, the one's he he didn't like photographing, they took the one's of Bill Cunningham where he says that he didn't like photographing celebrities with their free dresses,w hy did they take them off.
Why is he holding the camera upside down? 1:37
The camera is actually on its side here so that the image is taller than it is wide. It can be confusing when the clips are brief because the tripod mount on the lens can be swivelled all the way around the body of the lens. Some photographers will swivel it to the top when it isn't in use, some to the bottom etc, etc. But in the very brief clip we see here the camera is on it's side and we see the base of the camera body.
And now when i look again you are quite right, the camera is upside down! I do not know the reason! Well spotted.
Peter Lindbergh - the supermodel photographer is a remarkable documentary! I truly did appreciate it so much. Thanks a lot for sharing! Keep it up!
