No one questions JK's athleticism and ceiling but after watching him for a year plus, the main reason he's not getting regular minutes on the warriors is he's an absolute airhead. He can go from locked in and dominating to missing rotations, not switching and standing around. If JK figures out the mental side he's going to be a huge part of the warriors rotation next season. If not, he's going to be an off-season All Star

Cameron Payne dropped 70 in these type of games. He’s never even cracked 15 ppg in his life. It just shows you the level of skill between these type of games and the NBA

Guess what happened after 81 point pro-am game?? Nothing. No NBA team wanted to sign him. He still sucked. Now I'm not saying Kuminga sucks, but this 60 point game proves nothing, just like Isaiah Thomas scoring 81 proves nothing.

Last season as a power forward, he averaged 3.4 rebounds over 20.8 minutes. That's not good enough. Kuminga is currently getting about HALF the rebounds per minute as other power forwards, such as Jaren Jackson Jr, John Collins, Miles Bridges, and Lauri Markkanen.
While I agree he needs to grab more boards, every player you just listed are taller, older, and weigh more then him. And to be honest he’s not a power forward, that’s what Steve wants but his skill set is a three. I’d be happy if he gets 5-6 boards a game.
And the warriors have scoring but how varied is it, every scorer on the warriors besides Andrew Wiggins is a jump shooter, though Steph gets to the lane he is not a physical threat we need Kuminga to be an aggressive all around threat for the warriors to be in contention.
He is getting his comfort zone im sure he knew it when he works hard for it. He seems in a struggle in playing time to NBA. It will boost him later if keeps grind hard
Kawhi would have never developed in the Warriors system. Any system that can't adopt will lose its edge once the older stars age. Pop understood that Playing the old way with Timmy and Parker won't get it done so he switched things up. The 2014 Spurs looked nothing like the 2007 Spurs. They are still riding Steph's greatness but if they don't find a way to create a system that also fits the young guys, they'll keep losing talent
