Another killer video man, Kurt is a lucky lad and soild angler!! You doing a live tiying with Norther Angler this winter? I know you'll be in AK but love that program.
Thanks. Curt is as cool as they come, likes being out and is fine with whatever happens. Matt and I are trying to get something lined up before I leave but trying to schedule with him is like trying to get a sit down with the president
Rock on! Truly appreciate the work and time you're putting out. Rooting for Curt to catch a monster. I hope when you head to the White River you continue to put out content. 1 question: As you're working the oars, speed wise, are you trying to go a little slower than the current for multiple shots or are you trying to maintain same speed as current for a natural presentation. More focus on getting the right angle/shot for your anglers. Tight lines and monster fish mojo to you guys.
@jimmarkovich4119 oh curt gets plenty. He got 3 with me last year from 25.5 to 26.5, his biggest this year was 27 while wading. I tend to go a bit slower with one angler on bigger rivers to hit everything. I also do it to keep the line tighter with the 300gr and a lead eye fly. We fished some really shallow water
Curt usually brings his rod that has a butt section from an old dry fly leader to a small swivel then we add 14 pound flouro. This can be as simple or as complicated as u want to make it
Appreciate the info! I’ll have to try a swivel set up. I heard you mention in another video that you use maxima chameleon as a long butt section to a short section of Fluoro. How do you attach the maxima to the fly line?
@jaydutcher2112 that's my typical set up. I'm doing loop to loop with the fly line and a crazy Alberto from Maxima to flouro. I'll also do the swivel sometimes, especially when it's cold because the knot is easier when u can feel your hands
Appreciate it. Typically I'm running a sage R8 in a 6, 7 or 8 depending on situation, that day was an 8. With a rio 300 grain premiere (I believe). Obviously I'll match the line to whichever rod I'm using
@@craigjacobsen388 Have you tried them? They look promising. I discovered them recently & ended up ordering a zip stick. It was delivered today. Eager to try it out when I get home.
Keep at it, love the content. Appreciated!
Thanks man
Another great video!
I appreciate that. Gotta get some more stuff going pretty quick here, I'm running out of content!

@@alexlafkasfishingyou’re the man. Really appreciate this Alex
Great stuff Alex! Peaceful out there. What sunglasses are you using in that low light situation?
Thanks man. Smith low light yellow. Similar to the low light igniter that they discontinued
