Manipur Hostage Crisis | Two Abducted Meitei Men Released, Says CM Biren Singh | NewsX

Manipur CM Biren Singh gave a statement about two youths who were held hostage by armed men in Manipur's Kangpokpi district. He said that both of them were released and handed over to police on Thursday morning, seven days after they were abducted.

I am surprised Why all the National Media are not highlighting the good deeds shown by the Kuki-zo community. Ofcourse, the two boys have crossed the buffer zone and were in the custody. Recently, a Retired Army Jawan belonging to the Kuki-zo was held hostage after crossing the buffer zone and later mercilessly murdered. The two meitei boys could have ended in the same fate. Time and again, the kuki volunteers have shown the true ethic of wars during this conflict yet, very sad , the national media's which ought to be highlighting the real fact has not only put the Kuki-zo in good lights but has also categorically used the term hostages instead of Custody.😂😂😂
