I think what makes this podcast great is the different perspectives that you guys bring to each topic. One with a more history/academia based perspective and one with a more religious/theological perspective. It's really cool to see how those perspectives play off each other as well as how they tend to align with each other almost perfectly. Really looking forward to more of this podcast in the future! Also, I think it would be really cool to see people who are experts in certain aspects of biblical history/theology brought on as guests in future episodes.
Honestly it may sound dumb but wendi is the reason I started to really look into Christianity and give it a whole hearted chance. And honestly. My life has been a lot better since. Thank you God for sending your follower Isaiah to put me on the right path
Praise the Lord! The depth of God's Word is incredible and it's nice to hear other people analyzing it in a grounded way. Thanks for these videos guys, really good information.
I’m not Christian anymore (conflict with my mental health) but I grew up Baptist and there’s a comfort to listening to this that doesn’t step all over my religious trauma because my boyfriend is catholic and we discuss the Bible infrequently because he seeks wisdom and comfort from it so it’s nice to be able to have a refresher of some topics and the humor thrown in is so nice and wonderful to listen to at work Example: 1:28:17 “paul was a serial killer there done!” Like it’s just a goofy ass time that feels comfortable and unbiased and it’s super nice to listen to. Thanks boys for doing this love yalls work
Would definitely show up for a Wendigoon Bible study. I think what you guys are doing here is great, making the Bible accessible for a new generation. ❤
I'm new to this channel, so I began with episode one for obvious reasons that I thought were because, well that's the beginning. Turns out God had a more obvious reason for me. I am a woman of faith but confess I don't always work as hard as I can at not just my companionship with God but with being the best companion He created me to be. This episode breathed some much-needed life into this old lady! God did an amazing job working through you both, thank you for allowing yourselves to be His vessels. The humor is very appreciated as well. Christians tend to forget God gave us the gift of laughter and that it can be a great teaching tool.
It's middle of the night and I assumed that bible talk would finally put me to sleep (after neither The Lore Lodge or Wendigoon managed to achieve that)... instead I'm giggling manically, trying not to wake up the rest of the house 😂 Love you guys, keep it up!
I've always considered myself as agnostic atheist even though I grew up in the south and my family is very religious, but I've always been interested in the stories in the bibles as I find them entertaining and always wanted to hear a bit more of the weirder stories within the bible. Glad I found this podcast through wendigoon's most recent livestreams of him playing zombies with youtubers
When I first read the Bible, I was a stout atheist, purely reading it for one reason, I thought it's probably one of the most influential books of all time, so I might as well read it at least once. I guess that's more than most Christians ever do. I did become a Christian later on but that was in my twenties. I read the Bible at around 19 years old after a first attempt at 15 had failed. Whether one believes in God or not, it's still a fascinating document of faith. And it shows that, people have mostly had the same very human problems over thousands of years 😊.
Yeah, even if you ignore all the religious or spiritual context and such, the bible really is a user manual on the human condition. Some say is a fictional historical document, which I think is accurate although very simplistic. I choose to read the bible because I’ve seen demons and now I need some defense against the dark arts, so to speak.
Honestly it may sound dumb but wendi is the reason I started to really look into Christianity and give it a whole hearted chance. And honestly. My life has been a lot better since. Thank you God for sending your follower Isaiah to put me on the right path
I love this laid back way of teaching the word it is very digestible and I thank you guys for the podcast I know what I'm about to binge on TH-cam next!
I recently discovered The Lore Lodge and have been binging that, and I've been putting this off for awhile as I'm not religious. I decided to give it a go while I worked this morning, and I really liked it! I like that it's not pushing anything on anyone, and also that it's really delving into things and looking into the why's of things. I'll be binging this one now. :)
I've definitely not watched these in order, but I love these. I grew up in church and went to a Christian school K-2nd & 8th-12th grades. This is notably both more thorough and more comfortable than most lessons, sermons, etc that I've encountered.
While deployed in 2004, I was stationed in Kirkuk, Iraq. There is a monastery built on the site of Mesopotamian ruins. The priests (who still called themselves Chaldian Christians) gave us a tour of the ruins and related that the site was believed to be the site where Daniel was thrown to the lions.
The Firey Furnace still exists, and is still burning. The Babylonians didn't need to build it, as it is a natural phenomenon. There is a place near Kirkuk Iraq presently referred to as "The Eyes of Allah" where the oil bubbles up to the surface, mixing with sulfur and some other minerals on the way, which ignites as soon as it hits oxygen. It burns 24/7 and has for thousands of years.
Cool! I was wondering why people would just die right next to a furnace, because you can get close to blast furnaces (though you got to wear protective gear for extended periods) so long as you were quick…like chucking some guys in, it probably would be uncomfortable but not kill you. So it would have to be super hot or have gases involved that were very poisonous or noxious.
For anyone else who sees this comment and is curious what they are talking about since googling "Eyes of Allah Kirkuk Iraq" isn't the most helpful. What they are referring to is a pit called "Baba Gurgur" or "Eternal Flame"
Been there, though didn’t realize the connection. It was just called “the eternal stinky flame” when I was in Kirkuk. It’s also huge, at least half a football field across (if memory still serves. It was 20 years ago).
That's what I came into the comments to ask. The fact that Wendigoon marvels at whatever was said, and brings it up again to talk about the incredible detail Aidan went into... It makes me insanely curious to hear what was said there. It's driving me nuts!
He mentioned his dog pulling wires out. He used to have a bit of a recurring problem where the dog would unplug something and that would mute one side of the livestream or something
Im starting here and tryna watch all you videos. Not in one sitting. Ive read the bible numerous times and took classes throughout school on it. I contine to read it daily and look forward to seeing what you cover in these videos
Making my way through the series... third time! I need the whole Bible by you guys! My favorites have been Jonas and that rabdom tangent on Honey in #14.
I don't believe in the Bible, but you have my curiosity piqued and I want to listen to this whole series. I will even listen to you talk about Veggie Tales.
My take on the question of evil is this: If you do not have any bad outcomes ever--if everything is perfect--then everyone would be the same. Arguably, God is the being for Whom everything is perfect. Therefore, if everything was always perfect, then God's only companions would be identical to Himself. Would they REALLY be companions, then? Therefore, God needs humans to be susceptible to evil, so that they can be different from Him. A couple of things really hit me hard thinking of it this way: For one, this implies that Satan (whether he knows it or not) still IS a servant to God by being one of the challenges that make humans different from God. For two... God can't be misled and can't be tempted, since He is perfect by definition, so how incredible is it for Him to see those humans, who CAN be misled and CAN be tempted, turn around and say, "Y'know what? I choose God." ...I honestly have a lot of other ideas in this vein that I started typing out, but they'd be WAY too much for a TH-cam comment. Love the podcast, guys!
A TON of people commented on it on the original when it was posted to The Lore Lodge, don’t worry 😅 we don’t know what happened, we didn’t do that, so it must’ve been a glitch
All they've said is "The Weird Bible 2 months ago A TON of people commented on it on the original when it was posted to The Lore Lodge, don’t worry 😅 we don’t know what happened, we didn’t do that, so it must’ve been a glitch"
@1:45 - the MOST comforting and clear explanation I’ve ever heard. You have an admiring talent Isaiah. Then mix that with Aiden’s history knowledge. 👩🍳 🤌🏻 💋
i really wanted to sit through the whole podcast as i find the subject matter very interesting but i couldn't handle youtube throwing 3 double commercial breaks in it BEFORE the 12 minute mark. that just blew it for me so i went on to something else. idk, maybe i'll try again some other time.
I would pay good, good money to see them review VeggieTales. I grew up in a family who all agreed you're never too old for VeggieTales, it's amazing. We need that.
I really want to enjoy this show. I have watched both of your other channels. Speaking as someone who is not a history buff though, there is definitely a feeling that you Aiden are addressing people who already understand the timeline of these different agent cultures. There is definitely a lack of explanation of things, and it's very confusing
I could see you that. He probably needs to use more visuals of maps of the near east. That might help out a little bit. That whole area of the ancient near east, and its history is always so confusing . I can keep up for the most part, but that’s only because I’ve studied. It’s history so much in in fairly familiar with the empires talked about in the Bible.
I remember the look of absolute frustration on an associate pastor's face as he gave a sermon, pronouncing Nebuchadnezzar not only wrong, but differently wrong each time he said it.
Aiden, why is your video stream smooth, but Isaiah's is like watching stop motion in slow motion? Wendigoon's audio is fine, but his video is a flipbook of strange images. I've watched all the Strange Bible podcast up to #12. It's always distracting. Nothing against the podcast, it's awesome, but but Wendigoon might as well just use a picture.
The easiest way I have ever heard it explained was that you can't have free will without having choice, and you can't have love or hate without having free will.
1:39:19 Aiden's explanation at least addresses the existence of the women Cain & Abel end up marrying. The literal interpretation Wemdigoon seems to lean toward makes their existence problematic, at best (sisters?), and the presence of others not born of Adam & Eve, well...that story is just a missing book. (The "practice" beings before A&E.) Edited to Add: I've traveled to both ends of the belief scale & back several times; as I grow older, I've settled into agnostic: not a believer but willing to entertain the idea of a Supreme Being given more context & supporting proof. But I can definitely appreciate the Bible as literature & have read huge swaths of it for comparative literature & comparative religion classes. As such, the multitudinous 1:49:14 discrepancies make it hard to believe. I take nothing on "faith" given its multilingual, multiculture, multiple translations - and there are terms that do not have direct translations, so it's faith in a human, who interprets it how they decide it means. (Don't even get me started on the apocryphal books - some that started out as part of the official narrative but removed... others just dismissed entirely. Yeah, human men made that decision & I'm not convinced of their intentions.) I've heard even Catholic scholars say it's not meant to be z text book, not meant to be taken literally, but used instead as a guidebook, or self- help treatise. For those who are believers, well, I wish more would follow what Wendi kinda rushed over - that the NT is the book to follow for Christians. More of them should take to heart that Jesus commanded us to love. But yeah, I agree with Aiden in that it's a gripping, entertaining read with fascinating characters. I'd go so far to say that, to an unbeliever, the Bible is the Fantasy Fiction all other fantasy novels try to imitate.
So, I think in a different video, they said Isaiah uses King James and Aiden uses New King James. Between the 2 I personally prefer and recommend New King James, because it uses less archaic language than King James. To me, King James feels like reading Shakespeare. There are several other translations I personally enjoy, but for the purposes of following along with them, I’d say NKJV is the way to go. Hope this helps!
Literally none of these lol^^^^^ King James is just an old English version that doesn't translate well, and it's named after a king, so you could guess how self-centered that is. Secondly, it's the only translation that has a cult behind it. People will VEHEMENTLY defend it, depsite not one translation having total presence over the entirety of Biblical translation. I personally use NASB 1995 (New American Standard Version). It's meant to be a literal translation of the original texts, it doesn't use a bunch of old English, and it's straightforward while still having linguistic elegance. I got mine for a little under $60. It was a Giant print, red letter, thumb-indexed Bible. I personally wouldn't recommend just getting a Bible by itself, there needs to be a deeper way to study it, and that's why I got the Strongest NASB Exhaustive Concordance for maybe $38. Very thick book with roots, meanings, and definitions for every word used in the NASB (except for articles like a, the, etc.) and has a complete Hebrew and Greek dictionary alongside it. I also got a Hebrew-Greek-English Interlinear Bible that is a super literal translation of the Bible with The Old Testament in Hebrew and Aramaic, and the New Testament in Greek, with English written to the side. All this helps with the deepest physical study I can do, other than revelation and understanding from the Holy Spirit.
The answer to that question is probably a lot deeper than you ever thought it would be. Honestly, if you’re just starting out fresh and new, NIV man.. the more you dig into it and understand it though, the deeper you need to go. I’m from the Bible Belt where most church’s make the claim that it’s almost blasphemous if you own anything other than the KJV… but that’s ridiculous bc we don’t speak old English and the words translate differently to words that we use today. Start out easy and work your way up. Be careful though.. some translations add in or revise certain verses. So it’s best to always check with other translations to make sure they’re all saying similar translations.
@@A-A-RonDavis2470 I’ve never heard of that translation but after reading your comment, I’m definitely going to check it out for myself! Sounds like you know what you’re talking about lol
Rewatching this and find it crazy how many modern examples there are of people testing God and getting some deserved comeuppance. Great example is the wide scale black out that happened after the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony where they made a mockery of the last supper.
How u gonna edit out the thing that made wendigoon laugh so much and reference history channel after 2am but not show us what was said ??? I backed up to see if I missed it like 4 times
Christ is the cornerstone of the Church. That stone ,that becomes a mountain, made without hands is that Kingdom. That Kingdom has come. Christ said that of he cast out demons by the power of God, that the kingdom HAS come.
24:44 Is an interesting thought. I'm a JW and our interpretation is that the legs are of iron while the feet/toes are iron and clay, representing the Anglo-American, or British-American world power. Iron and clay don't mix, so the idea is that it would be partly strong but partly weak, with the clay representing social and economic problems that would weaken the power of the governments. Thus they're viewed as the final world power before God destroys them.
"The Old Testament is the New Testament concealed, the New Testament is the Old Testament revealed". Above was a favorite saying of Pastor Chuck Missler. A faithful brother I did not always agree with but I believe he's now with our Lord. Though I didn't always agree that doesn't mean I didn't learn much from him as can be said of many other of His faithful, Luther with his wavering on antisemitism would be a worse case example. Don't get me wrong, I know I am so far from perfect it's painful but, (Phl 3:13-14). I do my best as Paul tells us he did to put the past behind me, reaching forward to those things which are ahead, the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. I know I am still being sanctified everyday gradually through constant prayer and study being conformed to the image of our Lord, as are we all, it's one of His promises to us, (Rom 8:29, Rom 12:2, Phl 3:10 &more). This brought me to the realization that although there are many faithful teachers, we will find no perfect man of God this side of heaven, except for the perfect Son of Man, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Yes, I include myself in that last statement. Not attributing the Book of Daniel to it's inspired author Daniel himself is incorrect. In doing so you're ignoring the Qumran Caves discovery of 1948 the scrolls and fragments in which was found an entire Isaiah scroll and many other Old Testament Books including Daniel that have been dated as far back as 700BC. You must also consider the language shift very early in Daniel where it goes into prophecy about the gentile nations, how Aramaic is then used, that even centuries later it would be the language of those peoples, (Dan 2:4 to 7:28 originally written in Aramaic). Then after those things, he returns to the Israelites and it shifts back to Hebrew. This is something Daniel was more than capable of doing considering his education and level of study. Not accepting the miracle that is accurate prophecy, (Isa 46:10), found all throughout Scripture denies it's inspiration and many other proofs, (Psa 18:30). Is it so hard to believe that the LORD God of all creation, who spoke and all that exists came into existence at the command of His Word could tell us of future events, His will that He will accomplish? Both of these young men need more study as a lot of what they say is just wrong and brings to mind, (2 Tim 3:7). Prayer and study while putting our trust in His Word, Him, (Jhn 1:1-3), would be helpful for them both. I know many are set in their eschatology but I pray that they're willing to look again. As they're missing out on the peace given us in the sure and true promises of our Lord, (Mat 24:35). Just one of which is, "For God has not destined us for wrath", (1 Th 5:9a). The rise of AI (intelligent idols/prophets, Rev 13:15), cashless societies, the surveillance state, power being centralized, severe atmospheric events, earth quakes, evil for good, good for evil (Isa 5:20), wickedness and evil all around us, (Psa 101:3, Mat 24:12, 2 Ti 4:3), wars and rumors of wars (Mat 24:6, Mar 13:7), are all signs of the times that were given to us thousands of years ago. It's the prophetic Word, (2 Pet 3:3-7, 2 Tim 3:1-5, 7 &more), we are watching unfold and it's all falling into place at an accelerated rate. No matter your view of eschatology that's getting harder and harder to deny. Revelation 6:15-17, 9:20-21, 11:7-10, 13:3-8 (15), 16:9-11. These verses are a warning for those who remain on earth, all who go into/thru the great tribulation, those who have refused the Spirit of Grace, (Holy Spirit), freely and lovingly given to us by our great God and Father thru/by His Son Jesus Christ. The above was to help those who want to know and understand what awaits all who go into/thru the great tribulation. What we see is no miraculous protection, quite the opposite in fact, except for those that are sealed by God or already in heaven. The rest who are found to have or that come to faith during the great tribulation will be overcome and/or will be martyred as is clearly stated in Scripture, (Rev 13:5-17 and others). (There is more to be said about OT saints. The Jewish/Hebrew people, the Nation of Israel, the remnant, during the great tribulation, why those years are known as the Time of Jacob's Trouble. I will just say for now that you must not confuse Israel, the remnant, or the OT saints with His Bride, church age saints). Rapture of His Church: P - Placement of His Church (Revelation 3:10-13, 4:1 (4), 5:6-14, 19:2-4 7-8 14) R - Removal of the Restrainer (indwelt Holy Spirit, 2 Ths 2:6) E - Exempt from God's Wrath (as promised in Scripture) T - Twenty Four Elders (white linen/crowns/thrones - priests/kings) R - Rapture confused with Second Coming (reward vs judgement, Dawn vs Day) I - Imminent return of Christ (believed/taught by Jesus and the Apostles) B - Blessed Hope (encouragement/edification) Scriptures to study: Gen 5:24, Isaiah 13:3-13, Isaiah 26:20-21, Joel 2:2-11, Zeph 2:3, Mal 3:16-18 (and many more in the OT), Matt 24:36-39, Matt 25:13, Mark 13:32-37, Luke 21:34-36, John 14:1-3, Rom 5:9, Rom 8:19, 1 Cor 1:7-8, 1 Cor 15:51-53, 1 Cor 16:22, Phil 3:20-21, Col 3:4, 1 Thes 1:10, 1 Thes 2:19, 1 Thes 4:13-18, 1 Thes 5:4-9, 1 Thes 5:9-11, 1 Thes 5:23, 2 Thes 2:1-3a, 1 Tim 6:14, 2 Tim 4:1, Titus 2:13, Heb 9:28, Heb 10:37, James 5:7-9, 1 Peter 1:7 (13), 1 John 2:28 - 3:2, Jude 21, Rev 3:10-13, Rev 4:1 (4), Rev 5:6-14, Rev 11:12, Rev 19:2-4 7-8 14, Rev 22:20. These are just some of the verses of Scripture that point to the Rapture, our being "caught up", throughout the Bible. Many are types and examples that prefigure, (typology), the event and others point straight to it, others depict His Church/saints location/placement or are promises/reasons it will happen. I often hear those that confuse the Trumpet of God, with the Trumpets in the Book of Revelation. They apparently have no understanding of how the LORD used the Trumpet of God in the Old Testament to signal His People to gather to Him for Instruction, Worship, Celebration or to follow Him. the Didache dated 100-120 A.D., which contains the exhortation: "Watch for your life's sake. Let not your lamps be quenched, nor your loins unloosed; but be ye ready, for ye know not the hour in which our Lord cometh". For those with post or mid-trib views how do you reconcile verses such as Mathew 24:36-39? Mathew 24:36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angles of heaven, but my Father only". We will have a seven year timer because we know from Scripture that the tribulation will last seven years. Going from bad to worse, (as labor pains upon a woman), for those who refuse to believe in and accept Him as their Lord and Savior. So with a mid or post trib eschatology how do you explain that all will know the day at the middle or end of those seven years? Mathew 24:37-39 "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be". How can anyone honestly believe at the middle or end of the Tribulation, during all the following: the Seals, the Horsemen, the Trumpet and Bowl judgements, from the first Seal to the last Bowl it is all His Wrath. The great and terrible Holy Wrath, the judgement of God and the Lamb, being poured out on the whole earth, all that death and destruction on a global scale, such as has never nor ever will be again, and yet people will still be living life as normal, as they always have? You can not add in some supernatural protection that is not clearly given us in Scripture, such as the saints in Heaven watching it all unfold from above with Him. As described for us in Revelation, (4:1 (4), 5:6-14, and 19:2-4 7-8 14), or all His many promises that are to protect us from not thru His wrath. That supernatural protection you refuse to accept is the Rapture, our being "caught/snatched up", before His Wrath to come. Always pay attention to detail when studying Scripture. In the above, (Mat 24:37-39), the Lord repeats Himself, "so also will the coming of the Son of Man be" is said twice by Him. Repetition in Scripture means that the Lord has firmly established He will do what He's revealed. Think back to Joseph's interaction with Pharoah and his two dreams, (Gen 41:32), there are many such examples in Scripture. We see it in His many promises to us where He, Scriptures repeatedly say "from" not "through" His wrath 1 Thes 1:10 "and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come". Notice Scripture promises yet again "from", not "through" His Wrath? Heb 10:28 says "apart from sin", which has to mean apart from judgement. In, (1 Co 3:12-15), verses describing our evaluation as He has already given us our promised salvation, (Rom 8:30). He does not judge us against or for our salvation but for the works He's given all to do, (Mat 28:19-20, Eph 2:10 +more) (2 Tit 2:13) NASB95 "looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus," (2 Tit 2:13) KJV "Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" The "and" in this verse after "blessed hope" is very important. I used two different translations, the KJV even adds a comma to help us see that separation. Why did the Holy Spirit, via Paul, use the word "and" and not "at" here, if these are one and the same events? Maranatha !!! Even so come Lord Jesus, come, Amen. (Num 6:24-26).
I was hoping this would be as good as your other channels, but all the giggling and constant interruptions made this totally unlistenable. Are you doing this for your listeners, or yourselves?

Beautiful. May God bless your path, brother.

I decided to give it a go while I worked this morning, and I really liked it! I like that it's not pushing anything on anyone, and also that it's really delving into things and looking into the why's of things. I'll be binging this one now. :)
what a way to spread the word! incredible to see and interesting even to those who dont believe, love to see it💗✨️💖❤️
I think that might be the most simplified but meaningful explanation for the purpose of life and presence of sin/evil I've ever heard. Bless you sirs.
I've definitely not watched these in order, but I love these.
I grew up in church and went to a Christian school K-2nd & 8th-12th grades. This is notably both more thorough and more comfortable than most lessons, sermons, etc that I've encountered.
I dig it. Keep up the good work, brothers.
@@xqt6339 yes! I’d forgotten the Farsi or Kurmanji for it
I learned something new
Been there, though didn’t realize the connection. It was just called “the eternal stinky flame” when I was in Kirkuk.
It’s also huge, at least half a football field across (if memory still serves. It was 20 years ago).
Yo, I just came back to watch this podcast, what happened at 8:51? WHAT ARE YOU HIDING FROM ME, AIDAN!?
That's what I wanna know!!
@@cifge_404yeah guys we all want to know
That's what I came into the comments to ask. The fact that Wendigoon marvels at whatever was said, and brings it up again to talk about the incredible detail Aidan went into... It makes me insanely curious to hear what was said there. It's driving me nuts!
9:06 what was edited out of this video? Aiden was wrapping up his intro and it instantly cut to Isaiah laughing uncontrollably.
I know. I'm so confused
I will even listen to you talk about Veggie Tales.
let's be honest, even if someone doesn't consider themselves a Christian anymore no one will say that veggie tales wasn't amazing
I choose God."
...I honestly have a lot of other ideas in this vein that I started typing out, but they'd be WAY too much for a TH-cam comment.
Love the podcast, guys!
No one has commented about the abrupt jump cut at 8:51 which makes me wonder if anyone has actually listened to the video
A TON of people commented on it on the original when it was posted to The Lore Lodge, don’t worry 😅 we don’t know what happened, we didn’t do that, so it must’ve been a glitch
@@TheWeirdBible i was really interested in what you were going to say though, what was it fully?
@@TheWeirdBible it has to be a government conspiracy against the weird bible podcast to stop you from discussing controvercial bible topics!
Dad squared bible study, fantastic.
So, right about the 9 minute mark...what did we miss? There's a cut and it seems really important!
All they've said is "The Weird Bible 2 months ago A TON of people commented on it on the original when it was posted to The Lore Lodge, don’t worry 😅 we don’t know what happened, we didn’t do that, so it must’ve been a glitch"

Wendigoon's giggle put me in stitches.
@1:45 - the MOST comforting and clear explanation I’ve ever heard. You have an admiring talent Isaiah. Then mix that with Aiden’s history knowledge. 👩🍳 🤌🏻 💋
I'm gonna start commenting this on every episode lol these two on Adderall would be the biggest trip of all time
Love hearing the how Wendigoon explains what our original states are being with God and not apart.
Fantastic vid, love this new podcast
Kills me the “hey uh…. Do you guys wanna go home? yeah i guess thatd be pretty cool of you”
This is like Drunk History but biblical 😂

Its over. Wendigoon gave us permission to clip his voice. Ergo look forward to me splicing syllables together to make Isaiah singing sir mix alot
Getting distracted by the cute pitter patter of archie paws lol
Love this
i really wanted to sit through the whole podcast as i find the subject matter very interesting but i couldn't handle youtube throwing 3 double commercial breaks in it BEFORE the 12 minute mark. that just blew it for me so i went on to something else. idk, maybe i'll try again some other time.
What a gem
so...Veggietales video when?
"HOW DO I LEAVE" IS WILD 😭😭😭
Good topic idea: Sheol and Abaddon, are they places, people, or both?

We will be! Going to mention it on Sunday's show as well as on the final Lore Lodge broadcast of this show on Tuesday!

I would pay good, good money to see them review VeggieTales. I grew up in a family who all agreed you're never too old for VeggieTales, it's amazing. We need that.
Aw woman I'm already at the end of this channel? I need more of these bad boys! Time to move on & start listening to the history hut & wendigoon

Chad Christian Conquerors: The human sacrifices will stop!
They didn't stop human sacrifices, they just murdered people in a different way.
Imma start the whole series and then I’ll look and see when yall will do the Keys of Solomon
Wish we got to hear the whole thing from Aiden that got cut around the 9 minute mark, that sounded super interesting.
I remember the look of absolute frustration on an associate pastor's face as he gave a sermon, pronouncing Nebuchadnezzar not only wrong, but differently wrong each time he said it.
Someone should send them the Magic the Gathering card for Nebuchadnezzar 😂
???
Aiden, in re: the first day. The Hebrew day starts in the evening not with the sunrise :)
8:50 What was said during the skip?!
Day 561 of waiting for a Veggietales review
I love watching a video where Wendiberg looks like he's in a very very poorly dubbed godzilla movie 😂
Please look into the sermon from Pastors Peter J
Peters entitled "the most confusing word in the bible."
Aiden. Please hit a double with 405. I believe in you
The easiest way I have ever heard it explained was that you can't have free will without having choice, and you can't have love or hate without having free will.
(The "practice" beings before A&E.)
Edited to Add: I've traveled to both ends of the belief scale & back several times; as I grow older, I've settled into agnostic: not a believer but willing to entertain the idea of a Supreme Being given more context & supporting proof.
Yeah, human men made that decision & I'm not convinced of their intentions.)
I've heard even Catholic scholars say it's not meant to be z text book, not meant to be taken literally, but used instead as a guidebook, or self- help treatise.
Maybe you don't like to talk about this, but I'm curious what your beliefs are. Are you Christian / Jewish / Bible believers of some kind?
We're both Christians!

Never owned a bible before, what version do you guys recommend/reference from?
King James
So, I think in a different video, they said Isaiah uses King James and Aiden uses New King James. Between the 2 I personally prefer and recommend New King James, because it uses less archaic language than King James. To me, King James feels like reading Shakespeare. There are several other translations I personally enjoy, but for the purposes of following along with them, I’d say NKJV is the way to go. Hope this helps!
Literally none of these lol^^^^^
King James is just an old English version that doesn't translate well, and it's named after a king, so you could guess how self-centered that is.

What we really need is drunk bible story time hour using veggie tales. Including a sing a long during silly songs with Larry.
Sad you never got to revelation, and skipped that part of Daniel
That's my favorite parts of the Bible
29:23 *seinfeld voice* BUT WHAAATS THE DIFFERENCE?!?!!
Yeshua Christ is the truth reach out, nothing but respect.
It’s Yeshua Hamashiach. If you’re going to insist on transliterating the Hebrew, go the whole way.
Love this!!!!

I didn't know Aidan was a Mason
Rapture of His Church:
P - Placement of His Church (Revelation 3:10-13, 4:1 (4), 5:6-14, 19:2-4 7-8 14)
R - Removal of the Restrainer (indwelt Holy Spirit, 2 Ths 2:6)
E - Exempt from God's Wrath (as promised in Scripture)
T - Twenty Four Elders (white linen/crowns/thrones - priests/kings)
R - Rapture confused with Second Coming (reward vs judgement, Dawn vs Day)
I - Imminent return of Christ (believed/taught by Jesus and the Apostles)
B - Blessed Hope (encouragement/edification)
Scriptures to study:
Gen 5:24, Isaiah 13:3-13, Isaiah 26:20-21, Joel 2:2-11, Zeph 2:3, Mal 3:16-18 (and many more in the OT), Matt 24:36-39, Matt 25:13, Mark 13:32-37, Luke 21:34-36, John 14:1-3, Rom 5:9, Rom 8:19, 1 Cor 1:7-8, 1 Cor 15:51-53, 1 Cor 16:22, Phil 3:20-21, Col 3:4, 1 Thes 1:10, 1 Thes 2:19, 1 Thes 4:13-18, 1 Thes 5:4-9, 1 Thes 5:9-11, 1 Thes 5:23, 2 Thes 2:1-3a, 1 Tim 6:14, 2 Tim 4:1, Titus 2:13, Heb 9:28, Heb 10:37, James 5:7-9, 1 Peter 1:7 (13), 1 John 2:28 - 3:2, Jude 21, Rev 3:10-13, Rev 4:1 (4), Rev 5:6-14, Rev 11:12, Rev 19:2-4 7-8 14, Rev 22:20.
They apparently have no understanding of how the LORD used the Trumpet of God in the Old Testament to signal His People to gather to Him for Instruction, Worship, Celebration or to follow Him.
the Didache dated 100-120 A.D., which contains the exhortation:
"Watch for your life's sake. Let not your lamps be quenched, nor your loins unloosed; but be ye ready, for ye know not the hour in which our Lord cometh".
For those with post or mid-trib views how do you reconcile verses such as Mathew 24:36-39?
Mathew 24:36
"But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angles of heaven, but my Father only".
Mathew 24:37-39
"But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
We see it in His many promises to us where He, Scriptures repeatedly say "from" not "through" His wrath
1 Thes 1:10 "and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come".
He does not judge us against or for our salvation but for the works He's given all to do, (Mat 28:19-20, Eph 2:10 +more)
(2 Tit 2:13) NASB95
"looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus,"
(2 Tit 2:13) KJV
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ"
The "and" in this verse after "blessed hope" is very important.
