Hope you get it sorted , I have noticed many people have had issues with the Memorial sets , and even bullion coins have had copper spots .. Have you seen the new Britannia ? would like to know your opinion of it ... I think it's awful , and won't be buying it..
I hope so too, just a shame we have to go through this with every coin. Kind of just thinking to have my money and buy some stocks instead 😂. I've seen it and I don't like it, horses with flippers and that Michael Jackson nose is not for me
@@the_islandstacker yeah , it's not just that .. looks cartoonish ..Britannia reminds me of the Alien hybrid from Alien 4 /resurrection ..lol .. maybe buy older stuff , historical or graded maybe..

Yeah the nose on Britannia was the problem, and the emaciated cheeks. In the line drawing the cheeks are relatively normal, as is the nose. The renderings for the coin however that's where the problems become apparent. Perhaps on the actual coin, it'll be a different story.
Took delivery of four silver coins today from royal mint and am shocked by the disastrous quality: milk spots, scratches, scuff marks, and rim dings. Awful. Won't be buying anything from them again. On the up side, more money to spend on world coins.

However, I thought I might have had better luck with a proof annual set, as I bought one a few years ago and I was happy with it. Took delivery a few weeks back and immediately sent it back due to QC issues. They are charging premium prices for a shoddy product - and, by and large, getting away with it. They acknowledged the issue, but are now dragging their heels on the refund. Absolutely last time I'll deal with them. They have QC issues across the board, not just silver...
Like #6 gorgeous set, such a shame QC let the customers down again though!

It's such a shame that things don't seem to get any better. That is one of the main reasons I don't buy silver anymore.
