Good to see you again. Your projects look great. As far as working on just the Grand Library you have to remember that this is your hobby. Nobody else’s. If you just want to work on one project then do it. You shouldn’t worry about what people like or not like. This is supposed to be fun and if you aren’t doing what you love and makes you happy you will wind up putting it away for a while and not stitch for some time. Please keep this in mind. I love watching floss tube but I think it would make one want to compete and have a lot of wips. I could never do that. Just do what makes you happy. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say. Have a great couple of weeks, stay safe and happy stitching always ❤️❤️
Yes you are correct and I understand, I keep going back to the one project and really enjoy stitching on it. I think I can make it work with my goal in place. Thank you for your advice 💗
I've just taken up stitching again after many years. And found your channel. You are truly inspiring to listen to, and I love your voice. It's so relaxing to listen to as I stitch away on my projects. Thank you very much for sharing your love and enthusiasm with us. I would absolutely love to see continued progress on your library piece. And I'm going to go look now for the pattern for that Sunday stitch you are doing.
Thank you so very much, Darlene! It’s so encouraging to read your kind words and so good to hear you find my voice relaxing. I love listening to stitchers talk while I stitch too! Ooh let me know what size you are deciding to go with for the Sunday stitch and love for you to join! Are you on instagram?
Love your videos Nikki. You have some beautiful projects. I used to tape my fabric. I even have the many tape colors to match my pieces. I know have a friend to surge my fabric. I think that you should do what you want to do with your projects. If you want to concentrate on one do it. If you want to stitch on more than one wip that will be fine too. I’m here for whatever you decide. Happy stitching ❤
Thanks Sheila! You are encouraging, and I appreciate your advice. I will see working on one and see how that goes, it feels like I am constantly changing my mind. 😂
Love Your Floss Tube Video - great Video Love all of your WIPS - you are making some great progress on them. They are so pretty. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
Your two AS pieces are just ahhhhmazing! Will keep an eye out for the Summer Dimensions kit. ☀️I am conflicted, seeing that big finish take shape would be awesome but would miss your other wips. Stitch what you love is my vote!
Thank you Karla! Right I think I can squeeze some others in because I slow down after getting to a thousand stitches. Ooh do you have the other season dimension girls?
I think your Grand Library is further along than any others I’ve seen and I would love to see it finished this year. I haven’t started mine yet so I’m enjoying watching you on yours.
Chatelaine restart “I’m going to restart this…” Me to no one “NO, YOU’RE NOT !” 🤯😵🤣 Seriously, it’s gorgeous! I can’t seem to wrap my brain around those.
I admire your stitching progress on Tagh Ma Hall pattern. (I know I spelled that wrong). You've really done a lot of work on it and it looks great. I get overwhelmed with large projects sometimes. I'm working on one now that will probably take me a couple of years to finish. And I'm not young. One thing I've learned is pre gridded fabric is a good thing. It is more expensive than ungridded, but it saves a lot of time.
All looking good !!! ❤❤ I like your shorts and I will love to see stitch with me !!! I am not hard hearing but I do have you in all the volume up and is still a bit low I think your headphones maybe be good, I like the corals on your bookshelf ❤
I was able to get a PDF from dimensions for my ornaments. It was pretty painless… lol. I’ve been collecting the NC 12 days. I think I have 3. I guess I should get the rest soon.
You stitch for yourself I think. So if you want to go for Grand Library. Go for it. I hope you make videos of the progress. I like to see it grow with every finished colour. Great progress. And happy stitching
Nikki, your projects are so beautiful!! I want to know how you like using nurge hoops. How do they compare to q snaps for you? I usually stitch in hand but during the small time period when I did use q snaps, I didn’t like how they stretched out my fabric and warped my stitching. I was also afraid of them damaging my stitching even with fabric between the clamps. Would you say nurge hoops are more gentle on the fabric?
Thank you Lucy, I let my daughter use the nurse hoops and love the a snap, the one that use is pretty loose and I don’t have to make it tight at all. I haven’t experienced any warping. Nurge hoops are not like most embroidery hoops it has an indentation in between and I would be afraid of my finished stitches in those. I can show you in my next video
I came over from Stitching Moon who mentioned you worked on a lot of Aimee Stewart’s shelves. I love to watch SWM videos, so I vote Yes 🎉. How do you end your threads when stitching tent stitch ECC and there are no threads around to anchor your threads under on the back?
Hi Nikki, Lovely projects. My only concern if you just stick to one project is that your update videos will be very short unless you have other content planned. As to volume, you are quietly spoken but as I watch this on my TV I just turn up the volume. It seems to be an issue when you are looking down, folding projects, so maybe try and keep your focus on the camera. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Pauline I will remember what you said for my next progress video. I am torn what to do, I can probably still work on other projects or maybe just keep them short until I finish. 💗
I think that is okay if you only work on one project because I would love to see your progress on it and hear the stats! I sure hope that’s okay with people because I might be joining you in becoming a monogamous stitcher here soon. Lol
Thanks Rainey! Which projects are you thinking of being your solo? I think I can do stitch with me on it and just seeing it come alive as quickly as I want it will be neat. 💗
@@nikkistitchy I’m going to be trying to get Mini Winning Putt finished before Father’s Day. I’m at 44.6% as of tonight so I’m thinking that if I start doing cross country with 310 I might get ahead and not feel super rushed. I need 370 stitches a day to make it happen…
I asked her and she said she has her own but maybe when she gets older. She said she will make sure my wips and finished projects will not go to good will🤣

Thank you Silja! I secure it under some threads that won’t show up in the front. I have an example in one of my shorts video 💗

Would your sixteen year old daughter be interested in working on the Chatelaine you are going to restart. Just a thought
