Back in the 1970’s, I used to watch the weekly Waltons show. Today I watch the Hollars . Both families loving one another, but in this case, the Hollars are a real family , living life, and loving one another, not a movie family. It’s such a joy to watch them interact as a family.❤️ They are great role models.

All of you are getting so comfortable with the camera. I love it when Lilyanna (her name is so beautiful I just have to say it occasionally) picks up the camera and does her own blog! The boys don’t shy away from shots now. The whole family contributed to this being an especially delightful experience. Love the kitchen chemistry.
Every Saturday when the kids were busy watching cartoons..my husband and I would watch cooking shows. We would channel surf till we found something good. He’d take notes. We’d get ready and go shopping. Our rule was. We had to follow the recipe the first time. Then it became ours. He was my helper and we would spend the weekend together in the kitchen. Loved it. Miss it. Kids would ask. Why is dad here in the kitchen? Because he loves me was my answer. It was our time. ❤

Watching Meg in the kitchen reminds me of my mother when we were young,she was always in the kitchen preparing food for twelve children…
For your mosquitoes, equal parts of beeswax Shea butter and coconut oil add citronella oil. They will set up into a bar. And you just rub them on you where you need mosquito protection. You will not sweat it off because of the beeswax.

I just finished watching this video and I enjoyed the Buggie Bustle……here there back and forth like she’s doing it with you.
I have a grd daughter that turned 18 and was running a coffee cafe but started working with her uncle building cupboards, furniture and remodels….she now works full time with him because she loves the challenges and working with wood creating. He does beautiful work and has high end jobs all the time. He told me she is the best worker he has ever had over any guys. On time, never complains and stays till the job is done everyday. Does clean up fast and thinks ahead on what he’ll need.
She loves her job and I can see maybe down the road her having her own business. Since he doesn’t have children she is the daughter he would have wished for.
Girls are getting into building a lot now. I have a few foreign vlogs I watch whereas woman are creating beautiful works by themselves…so you go girl and learn those useful traits…🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

As a older generation person it was enjoyable to see the two of you enjoying each other playing in dough……love is the simple 💖moments….and having a husband taking time to help in the kitchen is awesome…..I don’t have that….come dinner time he’s on the recliner doing puzzles on his iPad……oh…well….at least he’s home with me…😊
I hope you are teaching your boys to cook because the basic day to day needs are going to be such a challenge for many……I have daughters that did not learn a lot of those basic have to dos if stores are not open.

Been a pretty busy and stressful week in our family. Birthday party prep. Small garden harvest, maintenance and seed sowing. And one of our peeps who is not as Hapy as the others 😢. Usually I am watching your vids as they come. Worked out so nice. It’s Friday night here in Australia and I’ve just watched your last 3 in a row. Definitely lifted my mood. When I cook a full meal for 1 like that. I try to cut the portions down, but still end up eating the same meal 3 or 4 days in a row. So I usually make the meals I love, and tastes better every time you heat it up. I can't wait for cold weather, because I love my homemade chili. It's tastes better each time I make a bowl. It's been a learning curve, as I cooked for over 20 years for between 5-7 people, not counting Holidays.

103° but only 14% humidity. The sun is so hot, 2500' elevation. My last home was 500' and at the normal 110 to 121° summer days were much cooler. Made myself sick working outside for 3 hours early this morning

Here in the south, our athletes drink pickle juice if they vomit, or get leg cramps from the heat and humidity. It works wonders.

Hey y'all! I see you have some Mac's Pride boxes back there! You should take a trip to their farm sometime! They have a store with produce and homemade peach ice cream, peach enchiladas (OMG), a restaurant , and a museum full of many old cars, tractors, and other antiques. Lots of rocking chairs where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream. Such a cool place!

Horseradish is grown in alsace culturally, we grate it otherwise it is too strong, you guys had me in stitches! I thought it was common knowledge that horseradish is fiery? 😅
Horseradish is also excellent with beef like beef tongue, with a creamy horseradish gravy, or any beef leftovers, I make them one day with rice, any leftovers with pasta. 😋
