    Hello James! I watch your videos everyday while I eat my lunch. Even though I'm a "retired" 63 year old grandma, I still make time to do my family and friends hair. I'm able to keep up with all the new trends and techniques with YOUR help! Thank you!!!

    Great 👍 refreshing clip in terminology about angles and placement 😆 always work like that automatically- following natural fall and what hair wants to do at that particular area I’m working on. Then I choose the Angle.

    Hi James. Since applying some of your techniques to my highlighting they’ve been turning out super great! I’m a far better cutter than I am colorer, but the techniques you’ve shown have helped me by leaps and bounds!
    So I’d love to see how you would help a client transition from full colour to their natural grey since just “growing it out” is really not a great option... this is a real life changing service for these clients that are afraid of looking “old” with grey/silver hair.
    By the way, You ROCK!!!

    Thanks James! What lightener and ratio did you use? And why shiny side up?
    Much appreciated 😊

    • @TheLifeOfHair
      @TheLifeOfHair  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’re welcome, Redken, flashes on a 1 to 1.5 ratio,So when you flip the foil back over it’s on the normal side the non-shiny side. 😁👍🏻

    • @heatherg2083
      @heatherg2083 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheLifeOfHair thanks....but there's no specific benefit to it? I hear of some who use shiny side for colour and dull side for lightener.

    • @TheLifeOfHair
      @TheLifeOfHair  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Heather G as fare as I am aware the shiny side and the matte side is all down to the manufacturing process and has no baring on the colour results as fare as I am aware 😃👍🏻

    How do you get so close to the hair line?

    • @TheLifeOfHair
      @TheLifeOfHair  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The secret to getting the foils close to the hairline is to take very fine sections. The bigger the sections the harder it is to get close to the hairline 😁👍🏻

    When you say stitch, does that mean weave?

  • @the1theonly_princesseri934
    @the1theonly_princesseri934 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Where’s the end result??

    • @TheLifeOfHair
      @TheLifeOfHair  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This video isn’t About the end result because I’m mixing four separate techniques you probably wouldn’t want to use all the four techniques on one head, The main reason I made this video is because I find when I’m teaching people that people only use one weave or stitch technique on every client, so it was to demonstrate that there are more techniques out there in terms of waves and stitches then people sometimes realise. I appreciate there is no end result and at some stage I’d like to make a video about the each technique and how they come out but with time that will happen. 😁✌🏻
