Your only option would be to disconnect mains and battery, then reconnect battery and press and hold down the "Load defaults" button on the circuit board while reapplying mains feed. This will default the panel however, including all user and zone settings. Last resort
@@tonyhewitt5425 its already the default code, and i tried to change it but the result was the same, the only way i have to do is to make a factory reset so i can enter the programming mode. The control panel is premier 816 plus
Hi, I don’t get the enable engineer mode when entering the Master code. I get Do you want to Arm system? I have to press Menu then Yes which enters me into the User Menu, scroll to Do you want to Enable Engineer, press yes but the screen stays on Do you want to Disable Engineer. It doesn’t seem to change after I’ve enabled it so I exit back to the main screen and enter the engineers code and Welcome back Master then Do you want to Arm system? I can’t seem to get the same screen as the video
@@tonyhewitt5425 thanks, got it! My installer has set my Texecom app Porch room within the Landing for some reason. They should be separate locations. Any idea how I can move it out of there?
Hi app landing setting won't change anything really and can be ignored. You would have to uninstall / reinstall app and assign devices to new zone descriptions / rooms to resolve. There is a good video on TH-cam from Texecom re installing smartcom (towards end of vid programming app details)

How do you change the engineer code? My alarm guy has disappeared and he’s still got phone access to my alarm.
There is a way to replace it but would take a call to Texecom Tech
My display tells me the version and some special characters, they keypad is unresponsive, do you know what's wrong with it?
Most likely needs replacing but could be that connections are bad on the data line.
