one thing i love about Splatoon is that even the Music has it's own character's storylines, like as you go from Splatoon 1 to Splatoon 2 & 3 you see a story of the bands unfold on the background with each game . like bands breaking up and bands that become very famous but not as famous as the idols of each games. the fun part about single player mode is that you find treasure that reveal the stories but in such a small way that you wouldn't notice unless you deep search and explore each game, it's like the creator of the game show us they didn't go to hard but the truth is that each game brings you a little continuation of each story in a small way. i mean, one of the shop people from Splatoon 3 was actually a member of 1 of the broken up bands from Splatoon 1 that say a lot.
Harmony was from Chirpy Chips (ABXY), however it's unclear if they're split up. However Ikkan, the bassist of Squid Squad joined Diss-Pair with Warabi, with the other three picking up a new member to make Front Roe.
I used to not like squid squad for some reason (maybe because of the vocals) but now i love them so much they’re so cool ESPECIALLY ICHIYA I LOVE YOU ICHIYA

But...although ICHIYA's vocals are yeah fitting...I do not quite like him? Don't ask, maybe it's for the initial vocals in Ink Or Sink (I LOVE Seaskape and Kraken up, neverthenless💙)
Been playing Splatoon 1 since the original Global Testfire, Splat 1 always takes me back to the happiness of summer 2015. When I hear the online battle music, I don't get just nostalgic like I do a game soundtrack, I get nostalgic like I do to old radio hits. It gives me that warm familiarity I had listening to Flo Rida in 2011. Or when Owl City was everywhere. Honestly, the only transition I liked was between Metalopod and Now or Never - I'd rather you just kept the other tracks completely separate (and that you'd have included the trailer version of Splattack! as a bonus track in the end instead of mashing them up).

I find it funny that I can connect the voice to the character. Metalapod is mostly the tall inkling's vocals and the urchin's "Ska!" in Now or Never
