How on earth would coronation of a king draw this crowd if Nigerians re seriously engaged in meaningful activities. Truth is this can only happen in northern and western nigeria.
I assume you meant this does not happen in the East, the most civilized, superior, sophisticated, knowledgeable region in the country. Let me help you. But you fail to understand that cultures differ across regions and that the Eastern region never had the traditional kingship system as other regions. I am not sure you have a good grasp of history. Besides, the Ebira stool is a prominent one in the country. Allow the people to express and enjoy their culture. When King Charles of England had his coronation sometime ago, the world was literally brought to a stop. That is the English people. Viewing every issue from the prism of tribalism is bad. We should sometimes just see issues as they are without reading baseless meanings to them.
