Tsuruga Group's 14th inn opens Toyako Tsuruga Resort [Hikari no Uta] - Hokkaido Sobetsu Onsen

A new hot spring hotel is born in Lake Toya! Hikari no Uta, the 14th inn in the Tsuruga Group, has just opened, but I stayed at the early bird discount for web members, so here is a super detailed report.
It's a really great hotel. This is my 5th Tsuruga group hotel, but the quality of the facilities is definitely the best among all the Tsuruga hotels I have stayed at.
For dinner, there were two choices: French and Japanese, but we chose Japanese. I would like to introduce French cuisine soon.
Breakfast is a half buffet. Enjoy the luxurious buffet.

Not sure it makes sense to take off the shoes before getting into the room. For sure won’t stay in this hotel.

Taking off your shoes when entering a room is to avoid bringing foreign objects into the room from the outside and, above all, to relax. This is Japanese culture. But don't worry. In Japan, international hotels and business hotels allow you to enter your room without taking your shoes off. It's a good idea to choose a hotel like that.
