Hi, Daniela - very nice choices! What a great concept for a free library! I would love to start and run something like that. I think it would be popular here. Anyway, I wanted to say that I have been the same way with the tags lately - I was caught up and now I'm behind again - LOL! But with our weather improving and cooling down so nicely - I have been spending more time outside and that's very important to my health, so it's got to take priority for now. Take care! Happy reading!!!
Well said Reney, health is a priority. I also will push myself tomorrow to go for a morning walk, thanks for inspiring me! Both our weather seems to be synched, as FINALLY temperatures have cooled down here in Northern Italy too. But plan to film the tag tomorrow early afternoon still 😉 It would be definitely a great project to work on, a free library or bookcrossing of sorts. I am sure you'd be successful with it. Take care and happy reading too!
Hi, Daniela! "The Master and Margherita" is an excellent book but it is not for everybody. There are many people who don´t like it and that´s why they give it away. I enjoyed reading it and I believe so will you if you don´t mind meeting a talking cat and other supernatural phenomena. As for Hemingway, I´m not especially fond of his novels but I did enjoy "Across the River and Into the Trees" taking place in Venice (there´s a movie based on this novel as well). And "A Movable Feast" is a real treat describing Hemingway´s life in Paris and writing about various writers and artists living there. I can only recommend you these two books.
Hello Marian, thank you so much for your suggestions on Hemingway. I think I'd enjoy his book about his life in Paris as he was also frequenter of the first Shakespeare and Co. bookstore and its crowd. I do love to hear non-human voices narrating books. I recently enjoyed Elif Shafak 'The island of Missing Trees' and its fig tree who was quite funny and charming 😉 so I may like Bulgakov's book. We shall see!
I quite believe you will like "A Movable Feast" as you love Paris. When I was in Paris many years ago, I made a special tour of places connected with Hemingway. I even wrote a blog about it. Yeah, the fig tree´s narration of events was really sweet, I enjoyed it very much. Those chapters are written in especially nice language, adding them a special charm. I have finished reading "The Bastard of Istanbul" this week (I liked it) and now I´m reading Ilaria Tuti´s "Daughter of Ashes".
@@marianpochyly My beloved Ilaria Tuti.. Longanesi is releasing a new book on October 1st, not related to her Teresa Battaglia series, but a historic novel (which she is so great with) Do you have a link for your blog on Hemingway's Paris places?

Yes, I have it, but I prefer sending it to you through Instagram because TH-cam sometimes refuses to accept links.
@@marianpochyly Got it, thank you!
