The thing is I still feel bad for XGaster. I like to believe at first his intentions to make something special for Chara and Frisk were pure at first. It just it progressed from thinking it wasn't going to be enough for them to his eventual glimpses and obsession with making this future took him away from his original vision. It was like a drug to him and it was sad to watch him just spiral into this addiction
I mean he should have let his timeline peaceful and let the world continue of their story but somehow the overwrite literally like drug overdose onto him lmao

Apparently ink's terrible memory is due to a lack of a soul (He destroyed it). The vials only provide emotions and do not increase how long he retains memories.

as a really bad memory because he mostly forgot who the gifted was for and forgot about who was cross some how.
With you saying you don't know much about fresh here's basically what he is.
He isn't a sans, He's a parasite (It's what that purple tentacle eye thing coming out of fresh!sans was.) He takes over hosts, fresh!sans is just regular sans, except fresh took over his body and in turn created fresh!sans.
fresh not a parasite before its a sans like others.. that parasite found fresh sans and get into his skeleton.. and now he living in fresh's head

So I know this video was pretty old, but I'd like to give you some extra details, incase you've not seen! The creator of Ink, Comyet, has stated that Ink often forgets things, and Comyet has also asked people to use the new design, for Ink, rather than the one with the jacket around the waist, due to a mistake they had made. Jakei chose to really honor the original, and stick to being as canon as possible when it comes to Ink, by both changing the outfit at the end, and by including the other details found on Comyet's blog about Ink, which is always fun to see!

I love everything that is happening but also kinda don’t understand what the hell is going on.
Idk why cross is kind of chill. I thought he would be extremely angry at ink, but he’s just looks disappointed. I guess he’s chill because of the whole nightmare situation? If he gives into hate bad shit happens I guess?
Also I guess fresh can taint things now.
I also don’t understand what it means that the multiverse is gone now. Is cross in the “classic” UT timeline that Geno is in? Or is the timeline we see now in classic the one where Geno is around? Or are they in the Omega timeline?
ALSO WHAT DOES INK WANT. WHAT DOES XGASTER WANT? Ink wants to create more with this override mechanic? And Xgaster wants to fuck around with overrride?
I also imagine error is at a loss of what to do rn since, well, the multiverse is gone? I guess he’s just watching what’s happening on a TV. And get angry over petty things.
Error destroyed all the aus so the undertale multiverse of aus (in underverse) is pretty much destroyed. Cross is probably still mad but they were in a middle of a fight with Error. Im guessing Cross fell into a different timeline of undertale where geno is, so it seems like only undertale, the others that were saved by core and dream in the omega timeline, and alternate timelines such as geno sans are the only things left besides nightmare and dream.
Ink (in canon lore) is chaotic neutral. And his goal seems to be to participate in the game that Xgaster is planning. But based off of the new episode, Ink is starting to doubt that its actually about him and realizes that Xgaster is hiding some stuff and is most likely gonna confront XGaster about it in either 0.7 part 2 or 0.8
