In Marikina try Mang Ding's. It serves local grilled meat and fish. I want Isaac to try their Bangus overload coz I know he likes bangus. It's also within your budget. Aside from the bangus, my favorite menu item there is their fried chicken. It's addictive.
That’s my favorite restaurant! It’s affordable considering the quality of the food. It's what we call “sulit”. Also, their service is consistently great across all their branches and they do it to all their customers. The only downside is that here in Tablo Las Pinas, they do not serve the bread with the dipping sauce. Haha.
Should you come back to South Triangle area, there's another resto just maybe a few mins walk away from Tablo, the resto's name is Borro. It's also a Filipino fusion resto that's comparable with Tablo.
Since even as a local, i dont have extra time & money to explore. I appreciate both of you vlogging to random places. Makes me aware , curious & might to check that place out. Also amaze when i know some place but feels different nowadays. 😂 Places really changed a lot especially after pandemic.
Try Qizia. To get there, you have to go through the ER area of SDS Hospital. Good food at affordable prices. Always packed. In Marikina City. Also try Krung Thai in Marikina. Try Cafe Juanita in Pasig City.

2:23 Cornerstone Studio G22. Btw, I love truffle pasta would love to try that one there since you said it's good. I've tried some restos there before in that area (used to live nearby)and I thought they're mostly just hyped and over priced.
Prior to this, i watched, again, your first few days video upon ur first arrival to the Philippines. And I should say, I liked both your hairstyle, especially that of Mr. Tyler. #justsaying
Yes the location is remote. Target market is those who have their own cars. On dinner time that place is packed really packed that youll have to wait for more than an hour.
Tablo has a branch in Las Pinas and might be the highest rated resto as well in my City. I'm sure you're not gonna do a repeat but I bid you good luck in finding one. Dang Las Pinas' got nothing to be proud about. I've been here since 1977 and been held by the same political family from the very start and brought nothing really to elevate our status. They rely on squatter's votes to always propel them to Victory. Goin back to Tablo, dined there 2x. December 2023 and February 2024. Yup, service really is top notch. Resto is always full even on weekdays. Presentation of the food is awesome as always but the taste of the food is 'met expectations' level only. Best I can describe is it tastes like a chef from a 5 star hotel cooked the dishes. Very elaborate and nice but the flavor lacks the punch. No overpowering of flavors.
Let us know what you think of our new series!
Please also leave your suggestions for what restaurant we should eat from your city!
