what is the point of redoing the evos ? to make a worse card but its first owner this time ? you cant redo the same evo as they expire so you would just wait for a new evo? kind of makes it pointless to even do an evo to begin with if you are just going to redo it later .
If you want to delete evos or use top cards for a self imposed loans system etc your rtg is becoming more gamified I feel so might as well bring out a wheel with different rules and stuff. Personally I feel you should use top cards and integrate your arsenal past or present players by packing or buying them to make unique teams like buying IF Giroud for example. I think you’re trying to prioritise your fun and enjoyment levels when it comes to the game which is completely fine but the way the game is designed, personally I don’t know that can be achieved with these shitty game modes. Like ultimate team is just ranked so you need to best teams to compete unless you’re top 1 percent of players. I feel you know this and try break that mould but it’s extremely difficult to play at a disadvantage game after game. Would like to hear your thoughts on this. 😊
The loan idea - I feel like you’re putting too many restrictions on yourself. I love the full arsenal team, I do the same with my Liverpool team. However, if you think ‘I fancy using garrincha today’, then do it! Your team will still be majority arsenal, there’s nothing wrong with using the cards you’ve packed/testing fun cards while keeping a arsenal core! Just an idea, love the series regardless!
I'm loving the evo side, I'm building a Everton side with my Onana being 87 now and Beto still being 83, my Patterson is 84 and now getting McNeil sorted for the new LM Evo, with getting some former Everton players into the Evos. It's tough now as the Black Friday Promo has made things so tough now ! as much as it was an amazing promo, it's been tough now ! Hopefully we get more amazing evos to get them upgraded ! I think the 99 stat Problem with evos is also the reason why the Recent evos gave little boosts in stats while giving huge boosts in Rating. Imo there would be an easy way to fix this though as evos could boost to a specific stat (f.e. all players go to 85 acceleration, 85 Sprint speed) instead of giving stats on top (+5 acc., +5 Sprint speed)

The best evo so far has been golden glow up. Taking a bronze Notts county player to a now 87 rated has helped me massively. Need to have more evos like this

I think the patch is a massive step in the right direction.. i still think manual tackles need buffing by about 5%-10% snd AI auto tsckles need a reduction of about 5%-10%

I really like the loan idea and think you can go one step further and limit only one in the squad at a time and do an entire weekend league with them (could be on the bench as well). Would bring an interesting new aspect to the series and is somewhat realistic as if you’re “signing” these players for one season (weekend league)
I played for first time after patch today in champs, I do think it may be slightly better, cutbacks are still the same, finesse are better, trivela is just as good from experience. I scored a lot more unique goals this weekend playing through the middle, and over the top balls seemed to connect a lot better. Overall though, it's not too far off
'finesse are better' i meant they're better in terms of them not going in from 30 yards out consistently, but still have good utility from closer range

I started my PSV evo team a while ago, inspired by you, and it literally took until today for me to be able to Evo Noa Lang because he wouldn't fit in so many evos due to his 84 dribbling stat. Besides that it is a lot of fun though, but I stand no chance against certain teams. Even if I'd invest in hero's and icons that played for PSV I'd find myself with Koeman, Kluivert, Van Nistelrooij, Beasly etc. and getting R9 and Gullit is gonna take forever. I am doing the team besides my main team, because I doubt I could take playing Champs with the team I have rn. Hope EA give us more to work with in the future, it's a lot of fun already and the untapped potential is huge
I dont understand this game first 10 games felt slow af of champs everything was bouncing to my opponents and was 4-6 then next 10 games my players felt unreal and got to 11 wins with ease with a few games spare im confused
Back in the day, wasn’t the objective of the road to glory to go undefeated/Rank 1 in champs? It seems like now the rtg is just floating with the evos trying to make it interesting. Use those crazy cards! And then mix in your favourite arsenal promo cards, icons and evos!
Maybe just put the top meta none arsenal cards on your bench and sun them on where required, like if your losing or you come up against a super sweaty team.. at least then you can kind of compete more evenly
Love the content, with regards to the patch I’ve found the game a lot harder I’m in division 2 and getting 14 wins in champs easy, playing this patch has made the midfield more congested 5 backs and 3 backs are still broken getting destroyed by people spamming over the top through balls on counter attacks
Im doing a city evo team and let me tell you theres not much i can do besides upgrade beach players and the womens side of the city team hopefully ea give us some bigger evos
There's no difference in the patch really,if ur playing lesser players than ya u can notice,but the sweats just using press after possession loss now and its worse
The new patch is irrelevant because half the time the game is unplayable due to server stress. Just getting your player to pass in the correct direction is half the battle.
I think the concept of using players 'on a loan' is really good. Means they aren't just pointless and keep things fresh for us and for you. Running a Chelsea evo team myself, the fun I have using Chelsea players much outweighs the fun I would have if running a normal team. Keep up the good content
If you insist on making rules for yourself because you ebkieve it's better for content. How about 1st owner whatever you can pack nomatter who it is, you can only spend coins on arsenal p&p and can only evolve arsenal players? That way you can enjoy any great players you pack first owner and can evolve and spend your coins to buy any arsenal players you don't manage to pack. You're an arsenal fan, you're going to prioritise them anyway without influence but when you pack great icons and other specials you can enjoy them too.
