In my humble opinion, SR2 is the best game in the Saints Row franchise. Has the best of both worlds: insanity, customization and gangs.

The first time I played SR2 it felt a bit like parody of GTA, but in a good way. It's goofy, weird, politically incorrect, full of sexdolls, dildos, drugs and guns. What else do you need? :D
But the PC port was so badly optimised that I hated it at times.
SR The Third went slightly different way but in my opinion it is still a great game.
However SR 4 was terrible or maybe good if you think of it on its own, not as part of SR series, because it has nothing to do with SR series.
I really do hope they make SR 5 where it turns out SR 4 events were one bad dream or something like this. That's the only way to save the series.
Unless they do a 'reboot' of the series maybe?

When I was 18-19 and got my 1st apartment all I did was smoke weed, chill with friends and play SR2 all day everyday inbetween work shifts. *simpler times*. I love games with good themes and story lines. SR2, gta San Andreas and Vice City are my all time favorite games forever. the old graphics make it what it is. I honestly don't care for video games nowadays. I don't know if it's because I'm older now or because I can't get into the story with the super real like graphics. idk

It's the nostalgia feeling of simpler times, memories with friends how you said are the best things to look reflect back on. I've been stuck on that loop right now, many friends parted different ways and now it's just going back to these games that i get feeling of how things were back.

@@jaimegarcia4436 I wouldn't say it's just nostalgia tho. This game has a good story, fun mechanics, decent graphics,a lived in city, and likeable characters. It's especially refreshing after playing GTA 5, cause if you're not a online gamer that game has nothing to offer.
Tip: You can call Zombie Carlos at any time after you kill him and it should work 100% of the time, even if you've finished the game.

I either couldn't call Zombie Carlos on my copy of the game on xbox 360, or was entering the number on the phone incorrectly.

I remember finding out Julius was the traitor, but man I wish I'd known there was a secret mission to hit him back for it. At the time he probably thought he was some hot shot spy movie hero pulling a trick like that, not hate for the VA, but Julius got what he deserved there. You don't swing at the family like that and expect to just walk away.
Saints Row 2 has a lot of stuff from Easter egg to many activities and more and saints row the third is good but when you finish the game it feel empty same goes to saints row 4

I had few issues with the game, because it kept crashing many times when I was recording it, but luckily I managed to put everything together!

I hate what's coming out of my mouth but this fact is true. While the fan favorite is Saints Row 2, Saints Row 3 is the most selled game in the SR franchise. That's the real reason why.

I think they both read the same because Tim wasson is the Jason vorhees of saints row and he’d died as a kid but got Resurrected and died multiple time after that which means he would have another grave.
Also there toxic waste barrels everywhere near the lake even pouring into the lake from a waterfall and there was also a toxic sludge Jason as well
Two more things there is a boat right next to the lake. This might be a reference to the ending of the first Friday the 13th were the protagonist wakes up in a boat on the lake.
Lastly the dock is broken in some parts so this might be suggestion Tim fell through.
Saint row 2 was the best. It looks more lively, more open and the weather actually changed on its own. Saints Row the third was good but at the same time dumb.

If you head over to the industrial area part of the map (I haven't played SR in awhile I forgot the exact name of the area), maybe I'm wrong but it's the nuclear plant area, if you head over to one of the nuclear waste pools you'll be able to see a 2 headed or 3 headed fish, pretty cool to see!
That bunny in the water is one of the best secrets in a game EVER till this day in my opinion.

Yes! Because some textures are just too low-poly. But maybe it needs a remake instead. Everything was rushed with this game, production and whatnot, so it has frustrating glitches. The worst being you really need to save often, because after a lot of action, it inevitably crashes.

There's also some npcs who fall off of the plastic surgery building in the Saints Row district. Actually it can seemingly happen anywhere, it's pretty damn funny.
The Developer Studio is Not a Secret, part of the DLC Mission Family Fun Day takes place in that room.

I feel like if they remastered saints row 1 and 2 instead of 3 and 4 they should at least add the option to be a female in the first game cause then it would make sense for "the playa" to be a female throughout the rest of the series.

A little heads up, the games fps can be unbearable sometimes. you should check out the gentleman of the row mod for sr2 its really handy for a high fps.
I wish they re mastered the game, but I get why they remastered sr3 because that's when it developed a storyline of its own

How do you play this game without bugs, lags and fps drops? I tried GOG latest version few months ago, but it works like in 15 FPS, and my PC is enough to play this game, but it doesn't work properly. So, if you can, then please, tell me, how do you fix this game?

I hope that it is worth it, cause i heard that, for many people, that mod doesn't work, and many of them are pissed of because of that. I speaked about it with one of that people, and he said that, it is all fake, and doesn't matter what you will do, game will always play with FPS drops and lags. So, that's why i'm asking about it here, cause i really want to find a way to play Saints Row 2 normally, without lags and FPS drops.

Well, i tried it out, and it doesn't work, but game works now with more FPS than it was until this mod. So, i think, that to play this game i need to have more powerful PC, and not my outdated 2013 one. And yes, i would try it on console IF, and only IF, consoles was cheap in my country, and if they has mouse and keyboard instead of gamepad, cause i can't play modern games on gamepad, if they are not in 2D perspective.
