Did anyone else notice the respect for the flag on the dash? I really think Dennis didn't want to touch the flag with his bare hands out of respect. That says a lot of positive things to me.
Sweet ride Dennis ! I'm a long time owner of an original bb 67 Vette. I love my original ride...but the most fun I had in a Vette, was in a custom 67 coupe. She had a 700hp 454, flared fenders, shaved bumpers, 5 speed ! I could beat that Vette up, and not worry about blowing up an original drive line! I sold that custom about 10 years ago...I miss her : ) That's the fun of having a non original ride...IMO
Great video. My Neigbor Ed was a US Marine that served in Vietnam in 65 /66. While in Vietnam he sent every penny home and told his Dad to order him a 66 Corvette big block Black on Black with a white convertable . The car was waiting for him when he came home. I remember the day he came back from the service, there was a big welcome home block party. His Dad had the car in the driveway. When Eddie came in he kissed the nose of that car before he kissed his Mom. Everyone laughed. I can still hear the sound of that big block when it started. Shortly after Ed moved out West. I wonder what ever happened to that Vette, that he sacrificed so hard to earn.

I have Watched coffee talk for a while and just started watching Fast and Loud and just recognized you lol. Fast n Loud is a great show and I think one major reason why is because they reveal dollar amounts.
Stinger hood..the best hood on a sports car. Why change the dials and steering wheel??? The ones on this are inferior to the original ones. I prefer the coupe but the convertible is great also. One of the worlds greatest sports cars.
Damn, to bad it was not original, greatest looking Vette ever. Nice car though, needs to have a complete chassis upgrade and associated to make a complete resto-mod. That would add to the value.
I'm still amazed that Dennis bought a 1967 Corvette "Baldwin Chevrolet" L-71 Big Block. Original paint,Tank sticker,protect plate off Richard Rawlings for 35k? Also who put a ZZ4 crate engine in a 67 Corvette with a 5 speed after market gauges and cragars? Maybe the reason was it was stolen then stripped leaving no other choice but to Hot Rod it!!
If it was being sold as a OEM restore I'm sure it would lower the value . But as a resto mod I can't see it affecting the price at all . And thinking about it I like the fact that it was stolen and recovered makes it a real survivor in my eyes !

It’s too bad ordinary guys like me can’t find these cars for sale. But I understand the sellers want to get all the money can so they sell to dealers or collectors. Who then mark them up so high, only the rich can afford them

I have a C7 Vette that I'm in love with ... but the 67 with the big block, 4 speed and stinger hood is the holy grail as far as I'm concerned.
