When you talk about hard times. This comic/movie was based on what James O'Barr was grieving at that time. It's weird, but the Crow always seems to have a special place in all of us who gone through crappy times. We all have our stories, we all have our scars. But whatever it is.. It can't rain all the time.
Still think Hot Toys nailed Bandon Lees face. Never yet seen a figure come close in likeness. Most now look like WWE wrestlers. Shame really Diamond Select have done some damn good figures in the past.
Christ, you've got like 20+ years of Crow collectibles just in the thumbnail. Including the accessories, you've got more than half of the figures that have been released respresented there.
I don't think they're meant to be removed, but seeing as though the torso are exactly the same, I'm sure they can be swapped. You'll just have to heat it up with some hot water or a hairdryer.
With newer Diamond Select figures, it is very possible to remove heads Older ones were hard AF to do You can remove the X-Files Mulder head because its a smaller peg but the Gotham Victor Zasaz head has a bigger peg and harder to remove
@@raytheshredgod6987 No kidding? Now I have to check out NECA's. Just spent time modifying that shotgun from the Halloween figure and even painted it silver to reflect the one in the film. I'm a stickler for accuracy. I will end up buying an entire damn after market overpriced figure just for the accuracy.
I felt the same, actually. Looks like the headstock was made after an acoustic guitar headstock rather than an electric guitar (look at the distance between the tuning keys!.
Your only saying its cool because there are no other alternatives. We shouldn't let a company get away with being complacent just because its the only articulated version. The figure is dated in so many ways. It is so far behind Marvel Legends, Neca, and McFarlane. I would have loved to see double jointed elbows, knees, removeable coat, or swappable arms. There should have been two heads in the deluxe version and the stand and if it hits a $35 price point so what. Don't get me started at the top of his neck, it is not correct anatomy, looks like a tumor. I get sidetracked and think its so great to see new merchandise but to act like they did a great job is wrong, I think we have to tell them its flawed so they can do better.
@@foxgamer1737 No...they're not...lol. Ruben Lopez is right. If you actually believe that most human necks look like that, you need to take a course in anatomy.
It looks as if Diamond Select were compensating for the long inflexible molded hair for range of motion. It looks a little better on the trenchcoat version. Just keep the heads tilted down a bit.
@@tryksta7247 it’s definitely better on the jacket version. I’d probably mod the other one because the neck is way too big and the head is sitting too high as well.

Its really cool that we got more Crow merchandise, but I really hope we get some love for the original comic as well.
Excellent review and figure, this movie is Definitely a all time favorite of mine, and I'll be picking this one up, R.I.P Brandon Lee..
just a tip: the coat from the mezco one:12 netflix punisher is perfect on the walgreens version. that's how i display mine.
Great figures. Crow fan too. Been waiting for more articulated Crow figures. I want to pick up both of these too.👍
Dude thanks for the idea with the shootgun
Glad to help brother
Thanks for the review. Just ordered mine base on your video.
Hey man loved the story and the figure is very awesome and remembers a lot of Sting great job on the comparisons too
Thanks!
Wow these look so much better than I thought. Will be getting both for sure! Thanks for the review!
The port for the flying crow is on guitar..if you put it upside down on his back it works
Didn’t even notice. Thanks for the heads up!
@@AlexWestCollects did it work?
Pretty sweet figures...👌🏼 But I wish NECA would do one...🙏🏼💯✔
Wow I loved that you showed the pic of the Crow in the snow I subscribed to your channel. 💜❤️
Thank you so much
Thank you!

Cool. I thought he came with the shot gun at first. I like the size of the figure. I'm going to order mine right now!😂
He’s $25 on hot topic right now!
@@AlexWestCollects thanks! I just cancelled my online order from big bad toy store. I go to hot topic tomorrow and see if it's in stock.
@@AlexWestCollects I didn't even know Diamond Select made the figure. Glad they did. I like their figures.
I think it’s online only.

The trench coat Crow is not a walgreens exclusive? Where do we get the Crow with the trench coat ?
I have both of this figures🐦⬛

Idk why they did the top of his neck like that 😳 it gets super fat right at the top and it’s bothering me soooooo much

are you stoked about the mezco one:12 crow?
Yesss
Can the heads be swapped?
Honestly I didn’t want to mess with them so I’m not sure if they pop off easy or not.

I hope someday, someone can give us the right guitar from the movie,at least make an accurate guitar neck ,come on,how hard will it be~
Neca did a good job with everything. This diamond select has an incorrect headstock

I bought a NECA aftermarket figure and use the stand and the guitar for this figure. Now 100%
😍🖤💔🖤💔🖤😔
i paid 40 for mine but worth it to me

the head is not big, google brandon lee pics, the guy had a huge noggin
Those figures necks are horrendous! … They look like they're suffering from goiter or something like that.
The neck looks normal?
@@foxgamer1737 Nope ... It looks somewhat bloated at the end of it where the head connects with it.
