I have an Esoteric S-02 power amp, best amp I’ve heard sub £20k. Quietist amp ever, zero hum. Doubles output into 4 ohms and again into 2 ohms, very few amps can do that. Music is alive and real. If you can find a dealer, do yourself a favour and have a listen. At the same time I found the N-05xd DAC/Streamer detailed but soulless… go figure.
Before you say that no company can match Esoteric in regard of their CD Transport, you have to check out the T+A PDT 3100 HV first, wich should be at least of the same quality!

I purchased the Finasteride, found out it actually grew hair. Wonderful product.
Forget passive pmc. Their large active three ways designs (mb2/bb5/qb1) are in a different league. Make wilsons sound compressed.

I'm sorry but T+A is a children's toy compared to Esoteric. The only thing better is a Wadax transport.

The reason why I didn't buy M1X is because Esoteric engineer says it requires a three day warm up to reach its best sound.
You can arrange something, let them turn the device off, for 25min, if it sounds good next restart, all is good.
