My laptop is too old and slow and he can't run any modern text editor as VS Code or Sublime Text, and I have to use only vim, which works ideally on my laptop. I can't understand why some people say that vim is difficult, because I learned a big amount of his functions in less than 2 weeks. My laptop is Acer Aspire 5250, HDD, 4GB RAM, AMD E-300 1.3 Ghz processor, I use Linux.
Here is no ideal text editors, it's always depends from your skills and needs)
