"I will talk to you of ART for there is nothing else to talk about. For there IS nothing ELSE." The greatest opening line of any movie ever! Thank you Roger Corman and a perfect cast! 😎 🎨 🖼
*A Bucket of Blood, a hip Roger Corman comedy with deadbeat beatniks and clay concealed corpses!* During his long and busy acting career, Dick Miller (1928 - 2019) would play different characters with the name "Walter Paisley" including an occult bookstore owner in 'The Howling' (1981) and a mall janitor in 'Chopping Mall' (1986).
Special nod to this landmark cheese-sploitation film! For two reasons - It has extra charm for its affectionate use of the beatnik/coffeehouse/daddio backdrop, and for its use of modern art as a foil for the horror. This script needs to be updated and rebooted! Any interest out there, filmmakers?
Sure, you watch this and it feels somewhat lighthearted. Then you retell the whole story to somebody who hasn't seen it and see if they thought you just wacthed something lighthearted, or something grotesque, gruesome, and disturbing. "I suppose he would have called it hanging man... His greatest work..." This movie is soooo messed up. I love it!
Underbudget, fast and sometimes scary. Bring your bucket of buttered popcorn and KFC bucket (it can happen) to watch Roger Corman' cheapie masterpiece, A BUCKET OF BLOOD. Igor, am kinda full right now, bring me my slippers and a 16oz bottle of blood, please? Be there or be square!
Always enjoy Dick Miller in Corman's zany movies. I also remember him as the cranky snow plow driver in 'Gremlins'. He, Ed Nelson, and many others owe their careers to Roger Corman.
_Hi, my dearest Helen! It was very strange indeed, because this movie appeared on CCC in the very last moment...So, more later I knew that there was two movies running on CCC at the very same time...!_
A Corman classic mixing comedy, horror and satire featuring renowned character actor Dick Miller and unlike most characters Walter Paisley lived on in a few different incarnations including a Twilight Zone.
It’s funny… not until I guess I got into my late 40s early 50s did I ever really look at any of the actresses that were during the golden years of Hollywood? It’s not that I didn’t think they were pretty..or sexy… just never really interest to me…Now I can’t get enough of them! Now the main actress in this movie, I’ve never heard of until tonight and she is absolutely gorgeous “Barboura Morris” Who played Carla.. Very sad that her life ended so early 💔😢 Now my all-time favorite actress during the Golden years is and by far “Gail Russell” I watched “Angel and the badman” probably 20 times! I was never was a big John Wayne fan, but I don’t mind him now kinda like some of his movies..Well…Having Gail Russell in some of them, makes it easier to watch! 😁😆❤️ Definitely sad how young she was when she passed away… Her life was tragic 😢 Those eyes….being a DJ for 30+ years,I’ve seen a lot of sexy and gorgeous, beautiful eyes and I’ve never seen eyes as quite stunning and beautiful as Gail Russell’s eyes ❤❤❤
A great and underrated movie. As funny and relevant today as it was in 1959. Because precious, art phonies and art hoaxsters have not changed a bit.
You'd have made a great, meaningless beatnik, man.
You should look up the short documentary by Wendover Productions, "The Art Market is a Scam".
Thank you James Rolfe, wouldn't have known this existed without you!
One of the greatest films ever made about artistic creation -- and about The Beat Generation for that matter.
not only a well done psychological drama but a surprisingly accurate look at the beatnik movement without farce or exaggeration.
Thanks for this more Roger Corman
Excellent divertissement et en plus, avec cet acteur Dick Miller que j'ai vu dans plusieurs films
Remarkably effective film and so simple.
Like Little Shop of Horrors.
Merci pour le partage, du bon Corman!
It is movies like this that make me seek out 1950s obscure chef d'oeuvre.
OMG- thx for the upload! That "art scene" was *chef's kiss" perfect!
Marvelous. God bless Roger Corman and Dick Miller.

And directed by Hollywood's most prolific and underated producer/ director.. the absolute master of the drive in........... Roger Corman!!
May he rest in peace!
Corman the EMPLOYER!
Not underrated

Good stuff
Classic!
RIP Roger Corman and Dick Miller.
Good Lord, the horror...all those smelly BEATNIKS 😱😱😱😱😱
Seeing this was when I gained respect for Roger Corman!
Life is an obscure hobo bumming a ride on the omnibus of art.
What is not creation is graham crackers. Let them all crumble to feed the creator.
I have no notification at all! What's the reason? I don't know ! Hai my dears ! How are you?! Thanks CCC 👸 🙏

The Angry Videogame Nerd brought me here to watch this underrated horror classic
I love how Corman sends up the Beats.
RIP Mr. Corman
I spotted Burt Convy in the cast. I love the beatnik scene. Guy with a beret.
Great movie ! Thanks for romanian sub!
#respect4all 🤗👍🇷🇴❤️🇺🇸✌️
The main character reminds so much of Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck in Joker.
I'm no great fan of Joker but it's the same idea. Maladjusted misfit reject turns to perverse crime, dark comedy ensues.
@@bespectacledheroine7292 well put!
Nice story fr a lazy afternoon watching
wonderful movie💣
it had me at the slam poetry jazz guy at the start
Thankyou 🎉
This movie demonstrates how much modern art is an emperor with no clothes.
38:03 “Zen stick” 😳🙄🤦♂️😂😂😂😂 Love it! 😂😂
I wrote a song about Walter about 30 years ago. No one has ever heard it. I like it that way.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha...
So do we.
That's like the old line : "There's a novel inside every journalist -- and that's a good place for it."

Please? I would love to hear it :)

Fun movie 🕺
Uuy que susto, mucho loco, karla se salvo de milagro. Buena película 🎥.

R.I.P. ROGER CORMAN 🕯 💐 ✝️
Interesante y bizarra pelicula cincuentera....recomendada 100%
You could make a good case for this movie being somewhat prophetic in terms of AI art. All it is is repetition of other peoples art.
Gostei do nome do filme 🤣🤣🤣
"A Sound Is A Sound Or It's Music"
Don't miss the drip drip drip.
muito bom o classico recomendo brasil
the perfect triad of nicholson arkoff and corman
Parece que fuera un capítulo de la dimensión desconocida o de cuentos de la cripta. Lo único malo es que el sonido y el vídeo no estan sincronizados.
