Have been study art for years, did that on uni later and worked on Damien's Hirst big scale projects as a metalworker (lots of welding) and havent seen something like it. It has enormous potential. Just stick with abstract and work on composition. Go up with scale. You will appreciated more than you imagine. Take a shot with art galleries. Just do not go there with dragons and keep the artistic media within pure metalwork. It's very inspiring

Wow man, you make my daily work look like child's play 😱. Good job bro👍. Although I think the paint wasn't a good idea because you got the colours perfect with just your free hand on metal, it makes it look more identifiable as a weld job instead of art piece bought in a market. How do you control the width and height? Can you do something simpler in aluminium?

Hey Dusty. You have been a huge asset for my welding! Now I have a question and didn't know where to ask. I need to fasten some ss screen to a 1/8" edge of aluminum. The aluminum is a 10" circle with a disc of stainless fastened to it. Can this be done with tig? I'm thinking the aluminum would bond thru the holes in the screening. The holes are about 1/8" for one screen and another with 1/12" holes. All help greatly appreciated.
