The artwork and the music fits in a unbelievable way. The music itself is excelent, and these two factors, together, they take my mind much more than seeing a film
Came across this in a mall record store (may have been Record Town or Musicland; remember those?) on cassette in 1994 and wondered who/what it was.....which was a bit unusual for me as I really knew my underground heavy metal. I had never read of or heard about this band or album. Why they had it in stock, ONE copy on tape, I don't know, although some of the chain stores DID indeed have surprisingly good metal selections back in the day so I suppose it wasn't totally out of the question. Sam Goody always stocked all manner of not-exactly-household-name metal and hard rock acts. Heck, I remember finding great metal releases even at some department stores in the '80s/early '90s, at places like Caldor, Zayre and Ames. In the event, I bought the new Fates Warning album 'Inside Out' on cassette that night and didn't roll the dice on this one. I never forgot the cover art or intriguing song titles from Lords Of The Crimson Alliance though. Especially in the context of encountering it then, in '94, at a time when the lamestream was writing off metal and declaring it dead and buried, and alterna-grunge was being crammed down our throats everywhere we went.
Got the album on sale in... Slovakia in the early 1990s. I have no idea how it got there, it cost next to nothing, was still wrapped so couldn't listen to it before buying it. But the sleeve looked weird enough :)
And the red sky, wich is always a sign of danger if there is a battle to fight, the unknown and surely mystic sign in the rock of the middle warrior...everything is á monument
I found this on tape in the bargain bin at the mall... in the I have it on Cd now...had to mail order it, was only available on a split Cd witch also had this band called asteroth on it. awesome album...even if the vocals are a bit screechy at times
interesting, never heard this before thanks for posting... just curious... if anybody knows... did the guitarist use a rockman for the leads? thanks in advance \m/
And the red river of blood, not of lava because its not boiling, is blood of what kind of creature. Maybe dragon blood, or blood of the enemies of metal
The moment the artwork captures, with these three strange warriors with these strange weapons, already to kill this fucking monster...is a masterpiece

In my opinion... the vocalist is definitely the same guy in the band Aftermath. Look up Aftermath - Don’t Cheer Me Up. Very similar vocals.
