Correction: Kama is not the only servant with passive charm immunity. My personal spreadsheet was out of date when I checked this. with or without Skadi, Kama performs exceptionally well. She doesn't even need Skadi in her party and she'll still kick ass. Having NP1 Kama and being Skadi -less and I still bring her to High Difficulty CQ! A Quick Servant that isn't dependent on Skadi! What a blessing!

4:42 I'm gonna add something onto that Caster of Limbo support: pair the two of them with van Gogh and you are geting an immortal crit nightmare. All three are chaotic evil, so Limbo's skills trigger, Limbo has two AoE curse gimmicks that van Gogh uses to charge her NP, which benefits mightily from Kama's overcharge on top of offering AoE stun, big damage and crit buffs, while all three of them have excellent survivability between an eternal guts, a double guts and a basic guts with HP regen. Oh, and most of their buffs are AoE, so you are not limited to a single attacker either, since everyone will do stupid damage. Individualy, they are great. Together they are absolutely nuts...
I just successfully rolled Kama on NA today and MIGHT still have enough quartz for Van Gogh. If I do I'll definitely go borrow a Douman and test this team out.
@@PhilosophyXMotivation Goghs are kinda rare in JP, so I'd recommend going for her first. Doumans are going to be in decent supply even if he's less popular on NA, and he's less finicky in terms of CEs. He also has way more rate ups.

To be fair, yeah. Jack is behind Kama, but not that behind, so NP4 Jack is a very good reason not to roll. Also, to add on quick meta. It's no longer going to be meta, but it's going to still be strong. Unlike what some people think, quick isn't reliant on double Skadi, just Skadi. Skadi's just the best support for quick, which is why people double up on her. There are many secondary options if, for some reason Skadi disappears off of friend lists instead of Castoria being on all and Skadi being on Caster. At the end of the day, she's the stronger Waver for quick teams, and she doesn't get enough credit for that.

Love it, thank you. Would also like to second how powerful Kama Castoria Skadi, Merlin Skadi, or even double Castoria teams are. Seeing her clear content in JP with these teams (the latter being used to clear the Saber Wars II CQ Shadow of the Round) is satisfying. And even being able to make low budget options work (free OC on Hans anyone?) is also a good time.
dont have skadi in Jp. I use Kama ,waver/fl Skadi ,merlin for long haul boss killing. Usually put her np on chain with garden of avalon to rely less on s1 as it effectively reduces her hp.Can mitigate that by using Castoria instead of dik mage.
I prefer this review style over your usual. You sound less of a machine reading a script (your past servant reviews were very robotic, with the soms exceptions of the few meme teams you've cooked up) and like an actual person
She costed me a fuckton of Quartz, so you bet your ass I'm gonna drag her to do heavy work against many things. But yeah after playing around with her through all of Ooku, all the points you gave are really good, and even more this christmas we get an actual Quick CE that is full ATK and is a freebie so that helps her even more in that regard.
Took my NP2 Kama's third skill to 10 asap. So glad she's here. Nice to know that my favorite Nasu girl Shiki will do so well when Castoria arrives (although I suspected that she would). She's maxed out at 90 and will be 100 by the time that adorable caster appears in NA.
To this day shes still my favorite servant and 3rd most expensive quartz wise, most expensive money wise to acquire only beaten by Passionlip at 920quartz and castoria 890 quartz, Kama being 510quartz And I'll always love her and can't wait for summer Kama Also milf form is the best don't @ me.
Nice you put out a Kama guide, I'm just glad to have a high end assassin finally. It's also worth mentioning that at least on JP, regular Musashi gets a buff for handling Alter-Egos, not sure if it's full on class advantage though.
I see you've updated the presentation of these Servant Spotlights a bit. Added the music like in the "Love But Won't Whale" list. Also, instead of just building teams, you rapid-fired some potential Servants that could support or play well with her. Sad to see there's no Meme Team but I guess with someone as self-sufficient as Kama, that's pretty difficult to do. Like this new direction and hope to see further improvement. Furthermore, I guess this has convinced me to roll for Kama when the rerun rolls around. Here I was thinking Kama wasn't going to be all that useful outside of Skadi-looping bosses into oblivion and just saving for Reines. Guess I was wrong. One last edit, I found the name to not be pretty good; almost mistook it for one of your stream highlight videos but it was definitely in character; didn't feel like clickbait.

Got her during the Ooku event at litterally the last day for her banner. Edit: I usually run my Kama with Kiara CE and the results are hilariously great, though I miss a few crits here and there.
Caster Limbo is absolutely busted, and I say this in the best way possible. He can cripple an opponent with his suite of debuffs, bust a fat one in return, and his buffs are major game changers when you pop them. He's great on his own, greater with Kama, and god forbid I forget to mention that he's practically built to support Angra Mainyu of all people. The craziest men on the planet team up to rip some faces and actually be surprisingly good homies. Not only that, but he has two stacks of guts AND a 50% battery, with an AoE Quick NP. Dude is his own powerhouse, never count the man out. Kama or not, he's actually broken.
I think the main thing I would do is add review somewhere on the title card like the lower right corner of the card because when I saw this pop up I thought this was just the fight you were mentioning at 3:02. TH-cam text might not offer enough space but I do like the not vanilla 'Servant Review: Kama'
Skadi is very fast for me to use but I manage to post a video in my channel where Kama's supports are Merlin and Tamamo where the team has surprisingly good synergy with Tamamo where Kama's NP Overcharged is used at supports instead on Kama is a great tactic and it shows that Kama can actually loop without the help of Double Skadi or a single Skadi support.
Just wanna point out that Musashi in JP looks to be a very functional anti-Alter Ego servant, due to her tankiness and the fact that her NP deals 1.5x damage against them. The issue is that she doesn’t really fit cleanly in the Arts meta, but you can easily build around her if you don’t have Kama.

@@otakuhunter4817 True. While she’s consistently tanky and can do big burst damage, having her NP locked behind her one arts card and her 1st skill makes her suboptimal compared to Kama. I still feel like she’s an option you can build around if you don’t have a native Kama, although I don’t have Musashi in JP.
I can´t wait for the Clown to show on NA. He will absolutely destroy cavalries by himself, but the amount of damage he can bring to Kama, Taira, Van Gogh and even servants like Jalter is just huge.
I have all Sakura Face Servants, available in FGO NA. Even though I have Skadi I reserved Kama to fight Alter Egos but I still prefer Arts teams for story and challenge quests.
I lucked out on getting a MLB Princess Pilgrimage from Kama's banner, & as much as I like its effect (15% Quick + 15% crit damage + 50% NP Gauge), I'm not a fan of split stats so I'm really looking forward to getting a free MLB Trails of Xmas from this year's Xmas Event. On top of giving 10% Quick & NP Gain + 50% NP Charge, it gives full Atk stat instead of the usual split stats that plague Quick CEs. Having more firepower is always welcome, especially for my Grailed Kama.
I've always had a hard time figuring out how to build an "optimized" team around Kama. I understand the gameplan is to spam her NP as often as possible to stack those Quick buffs & Charm the enemy as often as possible, but I always feel like my team lacks in a certain department. I'd appreciate anyone's feedback. 1) For Craft Essences: Black Grail or Princess's Pilgrimage? Without Black Grail, her NPs are significantly weaker. But with Princess's Pilgrimage, she starts off swinging and I feel like she NPs more often after playtesting. 2) For Supports: Double Skadi, Skadi + Koyanskaya or Skadi + Castoria? I tried Douman too since she's Chaotic/Evil, but she NPed a lot less often and I don't think her crits were better in the end. I'm currently favoring Skadi + Koyanskaya since between Koyan's 3rd Skill & Skadi's Quick/Crit buff, Kama's Crits end up hurting a lot. Plus, with all the batteries she ends up NPing every other turn. However, you do hit a point where you run out of steam because of the high cooldown on Koyan's battery. Castoria was interesting, I feel like there's a lot of synergy there. She cleanses off the HP down from Kama's first Skill and benefits a lot from Kama's Overcharge effect to set up multiple Super Invuls. Between Kama's Charms, Skadi's Evades and Castoria's Super Invuls this team becomes amazing for surviving. But for more general use, I do prefer the Skadi + Koyan team for more burst damage. I don't particularly like the Double Skadi set-up since I find myself not clicking on the second Skadi Quick Buff often. It feels like a waste and Kama will have two of her Quick buffs active most of the time if I play right. Plus, don't really appreciate the aoe defense down on Skadi's second skill too much. Maybe I'm trying to do too much with my Kama? For reference, she's NP2. I do want her to Spam her NP and I want her NP to hurt. I also want her to Crit a lot and I want her Crits to hurt. Any pointers/suggestions would be very much appreciated.
I pulled one out of the blue during the event, and have been working like a dog to get the QP to pay for her skill ups. Seeing this lets me know it'll be worth my time in the mines for a long time to come
Kama is great. I keep her in 1st. The only problem is that Euryale was too damn good for too damn long, so now every boss and their mother has mental debuff immunity, if not straight up blanket protection against EVERYTHING. Still, who needs charm lock when you're a loop enabled tactical nuke button who has their own 50% battery for dead turns?
Skadi doesn't really run into wall because running into a wall implies that she is insufficient to allow you to progress through the event/singularity. Rather she gets outclassed by Castoria due to the devs making money through intentional powercreep and therefore having a conflict of interest when it comes to game balance.
Power creep implies Castoria is the superior option to Skadi and that you MUST roll her. That’s easily false and while Castoria is great, you aren’t gimping yourself by not having her and making the game harder/impossible. You don’t need ANY of the Meta casters to get shit done and the only way you are required to roll for them is if you let randos on the internet tell you
Sorry, but that's bullshit. Castoria is extremely budget-friendly, whereas double-Skadi is one of the most expensive farming strategies in the game. If anything, Castoria is the devs throwing a bone for those who couldn't keep up with the new farming meta
Castoria makes 40% of the arts servants able to loop with someone like Paracelsus as the second support. A bunch of f2p servants, wellfares and spook monsters (like the Cumlord) are now viable farmers thanks to her. Not only that, she´s literally perfect for CQ´s. If there is a servant to spend money on, is Castoria, not Skadi. That´s what powercreep is about.
@@Assasin2 I disagree with you for one reason: Castoria's Super Ignore Invul Pierce invincibility. I know there are still ways to get around that but I suspect we're going to get a lot of content in the future that's designed to hard counter Castoria comps, and non-Castoria comps will end up suffering too.

Kama definitely on my to-get servants from the day I started playing fgo and had to fight some riders in orleans. Stupid wyverns. They were pretty easy, now that I look back on orleans and other singularities from olympus. God, atlantis was easy tho. I started playing about 3 months ago so I don't have any decent supports, so that sucks. Thats probs why I find olympus this hard. Getting castoria would be amazing tho. Kagetora and Hokusai will get to be good
Honestly while she is a primo Servant and anyone who likes either meta or just Kama in general should go for her. I'm probably gonna skip her on the rerun. Its more of me hating her character and her near 100% charm locking having the same taste in my mouth as Mothman and Super Orion. As in being near 1 stop shops to trivialize most content in the game
I got her NP5 surprisingly easily, and I'm very happy for that. I've gotten her skills to 6/10/10, and I'm in a bit of a bind; should I bother getting that first skill to 10 now, or focus on other Servants. I'm leaning toward the latter, but that has the problem of having way, way too many Servants who could use skill leveling in my roster. That's the REAL downside of getting too many Servants...
Honestly, I enjoyed this one. Kind of nice to know that she doesn't simply lose all effectiveness in the age of Castoria. Honestly just gets another weapon and a setup that has its appeal instead of just double Skadi. Either way, glad I got really lucky with her. A good NP level and she'll be a handy servant to rely on for a long while.

Hey Fino, what Card would benefit most from the Parvarti Code Cast? I always have issues figuring out which to put on what card... That said, I got her ... NP3 in 4 rolls. I made the mistake to roll more for that Marie CE But never got it :P BUT REALLY NO COMPLAINTS...

Imho only Assasins really comparable to Kama are Shiki (has hard survival, stupid damage, invul pierce, 30% charge and is easy to loop), Old Li (extremely high NP gain, good NP spam despite low hitcounts, extremely burst damage with NPs and crits, invul pierce, hard survival) and King Hassan (way more survival, nearly gimmick proof with proper CC build and more general dps despite having troubles launching his NP often)
Is she worth it even at just NP1? Because I got lucky and got her once, but didn't try too much for more copies (though I should have NP3ed her damn it, got spooked by Jack (NP2) just before her and then Artoria (NP3) later on. Does she endure as a powerhouse even with just the one copy?
Kama's main real weakness, one not mentioned in the video, is that most bosses get mental debuff immunity post Part 1 to prevent Euryale cheesing (not that the Charm did anything to deter her nuclear damage), so for the main challenge content that counts, Kama's strongest gimmick rarely ever works. Still a good turn-1-instant-NP boss killer, but without that 50% battery she loses most of her bread and butter use.
@@joshuakim5240 i think her biggest gimmick is her alter ego attack bonus. I think the charm is just a bonus since she doesn't need to proc the charm for any dmg bonus. Other than that i think he overcharge skill blows cuz 200% overcharge is only an extra 5%.

Can't really agree with the whole Skadi death thing. Like yeah Castoria is great and all, but does her release directly make Skadi any worse? Double skadi will still be just as powerful as its always been, Castoria just gives players easier art looping options. This fanbase is all or nothing with it's units, if it's not the peak of the meta then apparently it's useless.
That's basically what happened to Tamamo with the memes but once people started seeing how well Tamamo combos with castoria it quickly died down. Wu Zetian can do somewhat the same thing with her double buff compared Skadi always had issues since release like her np being useful in three turns and how fast quick units fall off on damage if thier buffs come off of it while castoria basically has everything going for her with np gain arts up and easy way to charge double np so if you get either castoria cards while looping by the third wave you have use 3 np to do even more damage while not losing any power. She is still good but the game nerfs her somewhat with strange waves without 3 enemies each time while arts units useally have batteries compared to quick. Buster wise very slow and harder to 3 turn which is why it's lacking in loops. Only team I could think of that can 3 turn doesn't use Merlin and needs a 50 Percent charge with 3 50 Percent battery units and a mlb kscope for 3 tunes like ereshkigal mlb kscope double waver skadi or something
@@Starsoulklr That still doesn't affect how good double Skadi is in isolation. There are many farming nodes in events with 1-2 enemies per wave, which does affect Skadi. But it isn't something that kills her and takes her away from the meta. Just because there is a better option, doesn't mean make the worse option bad by default.
I gave you what effects Double Skadi effectiveness for farming. I never said anything about it killing her effectiveness for everything whatsoever. She's still perfectly fine for other means.

Which one, Li or Hassan? For either, their damage isn't enough to justify putting them above an Assassin with Kama's utility, or even close for that matter. Heck, if you give Wu Zetian the amount of copies that equals the rarities between 4 stars and 5 stars, Wu's ahead of Li regardless, and Hassan will be above Wu only on guts turns. Wu is still the queen of damage unless you're a crazy person that decided to get 3+ copies of a limited 5 star.

Honestly, I don't like Kama because of the hype and also not intrigued and amazed by her kit because it is a bit of a rehash from the other servants skills. And apparently desire censor/catalyst is strong because my dislike for her is the reason that I got her with my first Multi.
FGO is a joke of a game and you can power through most content with half decent characters. The real prize is the waifus and in that regard Kama delivers and is unlikely to get power creeped in that department. She is still the top tier Sakura face.

Honestly I don't even care for the quick meta since skadi was announced in jp Plus Kama is basically in a trio of Character uses of jack mhxx and Kama where each have a use in some way and it's not so simple to say use Kama and that's it. Mhxx does the most damage and jack has some remove buff skills and female damage that comes in handy while Kama is charm and charge as the alter ego thing is beyond niche as ego units hardly come up in story and Farming lowering her use on that angle.
@@ACertainMan that's still niche and also each later lostbelt has mental debuff resist so her other more important niche is not as useful in general to compensate. Not saying she is bad but her kit doesn't always have uses. Mhx was treated as a joke so much they buffed everything about her and people still think she isn't as good when she can up attack lower defense and crit fast inval with a stronger np. Jack only has half of that but her niche comes up more for it. That's why I'm saying it's a triangle as not one unit can do everything or use everyone (except space ishtar) Also speaking of her. You junk dw will ever make a St unit with color np changes? That would be cool to see.
@@ivanbluecool no rider boss so far that I've seen had mental debuff Resistance, and if they do that also hurts MHX in terms of tool kit as well since her stun won't land on them. Kama has the AE niche all 3 butcher rider bosses about the same with kama having better team flexibility thx to her battery. In terms of Assassins when jack Lands her anti female it's almost always overkill damage than what you need and the other assassins make the cut it's like a triangle if you have 1 piece you don't need the other 2. I'm not interested in the ability to change the NP types
@@ACertainMan yeah that's what people forget. I mean this triangle is hardly brought up as most ignore mhxx doing the best general damage for them. Another triangle I see is shiki li shuwen and asako where li shuwen does best damage in general but shiki has a charge and asako can loop for better long term damage and sustain. Li is a burst for major damage. Off shoots like Kerry have more hit stars for crits bit he can't np spam much even with castoria.

Take for example the Santa alter CQ with the whole card Resistance down thing, Jack's performance was better Vs a rider saber face than MHX it was a freaking slaughter I'll tell you that. Shiki is easily at the top of that triangle, for most Peeps anyways so that's hardly a comparison. Kerry has half the base np gain state of shiki with the same hitcounts he needs a completely separate niche to stand up ~cough cough MAGUS KILLER cough cough~ Hundred face doesn't fair well in multi enemy situation which is a large amount of rider bosses since she lives off stacking her np effects over and over again to snowball and cripple the enemy unlike shiki who can Burst right of the bat.

I really wish I could get into the Kama bandwagon, but I already have an NP4 Jack and can't really see the need of having two strong single-target Quick assassins. Gotta save for Bunny Artoria and Space Ishtar.

To be fair, yeah. Jack is behind Kama, but not that behind, so NP4 Jack is a very good reason not to roll. Also, to add on quick meta. It's no longer going to be meta, but it's going to still be strong. Unlike what some people think, quick isn't reliant on double Skadi, just Skadi. Skadi's just the best support for quick, which is why people double up on her. There are many secondary options if, for some reason Skadi disappears off of friend lists instead of Castoria being on all and Skadi being on Caster. At the end of the day, she's the stronger Waver for quick teams, and she doesn't get enough credit for that.

Would also like to second how powerful Kama Castoria Skadi, Merlin Skadi, or even double Castoria teams are. Seeing her clear content in JP with these teams (the latter being used to clear the Saber Wars II CQ Shadow of the Round) is satisfying. And even being able to make low budget options work (free OC on Hans anyone?) is also a good time.

I use Kama ,waver/fl Skadi ,merlin for long haul boss killing.
Usually put her np on chain with garden of avalon to rely less on s1 as it effectively reduces her hp.Can mitigate that by using Castoria instead of dik mage.
I prefer this review style over your usual. You sound less of a machine reading a script (your past servant reviews were very robotic, with the soms exceptions of the few meme teams you've cooked up) and like an actual person

But yeah after playing around with her through all of Ooku, all the points you gave are really good, and even more this christmas we get an actual Quick CE that is full ATK and is a freebie so that helps her even more in that regard.
I need to say that Musashi can kill Alter Egos with her NP, so this also an alternative - not only Kama + zerks.

Nice to know that my favorite Nasu girl Shiki will do so well when Castoria arrives (although I suspected that she would). She's maxed out at 90 and will be 100 by the time that adorable caster appears in NA.
Glad I got her on at least one of my accounts so that if I need one I have access to her. and can do her interludes and valentines and stuff.

I see you've updated the presentation of these Servant Spotlights a bit. Added the music like in the "Love But Won't Whale" list. Also, instead of just building teams, you rapid-fired some potential Servants that could support or play well with her. Sad to see there's no Meme Team but I guess with someone as self-sufficient as Kama, that's pretty difficult to do.
Like this new direction and hope to see further improvement.
Furthermore, I guess this has convinced me to roll for Kama when the rerun rolls around. Here I was thinking Kama wasn't going to be all that useful outside of Skadi-looping bosses into oblivion and just saving for Reines. Guess I was wrong.

I usually run my Kama with Kiara CE and the results are hilariously great, though I miss a few crits here and there.
Caster Limbo is absolutely busted, and I say this in the best way possible. He can cripple an opponent with his suite of debuffs, bust a fat one in return, and his buffs are major game changers when you pop them. He's great on his own, greater with Kama, and god forbid I forget to mention that he's practically built to support Angra Mainyu of all people. The craziest men on the planet team up to rip some faces and actually be surprisingly good homies. Not only that, but he has two stacks of guts AND a 50% battery, with an AoE Quick NP. Dude is his own powerhouse, never count the man out. Kama or not, he's actually broken.

Skadi is very fast for me to use but I manage to post a video in my channel where Kama's supports are Merlin and Tamamo where the team has surprisingly good synergy with Tamamo where Kama's NP Overcharged is used at supports instead on Kama is a great tactic and it shows that Kama can actually loop without the help of Double Skadi or a single Skadi support.
Just wanna point out that Musashi in JP looks to be a very functional anti-Alter Ego servant, due to her tankiness and the fact that her NP deals 1.5x damage against them. The issue is that she doesn’t really fit cleanly in the Arts meta, but you can easily build around her if you don’t have Kama.

@@otakuhunter4817 True. While she’s consistently tanky and can do big burst damage, having her NP locked behind her one arts card and her 1st skill makes her suboptimal compared to Kama. I still feel like she’s an option you can build around if you don’t have a native Kama, although I don’t have Musashi in JP.
I can´t wait for the Clown to show on NA. He will absolutely destroy cavalries by himself, but the amount of damage he can bring to Kama, Taira, Van Gogh and even servants like Jalter is just huge.

I have all Sakura Face Servants, available in FGO NA. Even though I have Skadi I reserved Kama to fight Alter Egos but I still prefer Arts teams for story and challenge quests.

I lucked out on getting a MLB Princess Pilgrimage from Kama's banner, & as much as I like its effect (15% Quick + 15% crit damage + 50% NP Gauge), I'm not a fan of split stats so I'm really looking forward to getting a free MLB Trails of Xmas from this year's Xmas Event. On top of giving 10% Quick & NP Gain + 50% NP Charge, it gives full Atk stat instead of the usual split stats that plague Quick CEs. Having more firepower is always welcome, especially for my Grailed Kama.

I've always had a hard time figuring out how to build an "optimized" team around Kama. I understand the gameplan is to spam her NP as often as possible to stack those Quick buffs & Charm the enemy as often as possible, but I always feel like my team lacks in a certain department. I'd appreciate anyone's feedback.
1) For Craft Essences: Black Grail or Princess's Pilgrimage?
Without Black Grail, her NPs are significantly weaker. But with Princess's Pilgrimage, she starts off swinging and I feel like she NPs more often after playtesting.
2) For Supports: Double Skadi, Skadi + Koyanskaya or Skadi + Castoria?
I tried Douman too since she's Chaotic/Evil, but she NPed a lot less often and I don't think her crits were better in the end.
I'm currently favoring Skadi + Koyanskaya since between Koyan's 3rd Skill & Skadi's Quick/Crit buff, Kama's Crits end up hurting a lot. Plus, with all the batteries she ends up NPing every other turn. However, you do hit a point where you run out of steam because of the high cooldown on Koyan's battery.
Castoria was interesting, I feel like there's a lot of synergy there. She cleanses off the HP down from Kama's first Skill and benefits a lot from Kama's Overcharge effect to set up multiple Super Invuls. Between Kama's Charms, Skadi's Evades and Castoria's Super Invuls this team becomes amazing for surviving. But for more general use, I do prefer the Skadi + Koyan team for more burst damage. I don't particularly like the Double Skadi set-up since I find myself not clicking on the second Skadi Quick Buff often. It feels like a waste and Kama will have two of her Quick buffs active most of the time if I play right. Plus, don't really appreciate the aoe defense down on Skadi's second skill too much.
Maybe I'm trying to do too much with my Kama? For reference, she's NP2. I do want her to Spam her NP and I want her NP to hurt. I also want her to Crit a lot and I want her Crits to hurt.
Any pointers/suggestions would be very much appreciated.
I pulled one out of the blue during the event, and have been working like a dog to get the QP to pay for her skill ups. Seeing this lets me know it'll be worth my time in the mines for a long time to come

Kama is great. I keep her in 1st. The only problem is that Euryale was too damn good for too damn long, so now every boss and their mother has mental debuff immunity, if not straight up blanket protection against EVERYTHING.
Still, who needs charm lock when you're a loop enabled tactical nuke button who has their own 50% battery for dead turns?
Skadi doesn't really run into wall because running into a wall implies that she is insufficient to allow you to progress through the event/singularity. Rather she gets outclassed by Castoria due to the devs making money through intentional powercreep and therefore having a conflict of interest when it comes to game balance.
Power creep implies Castoria is the superior option to Skadi and that you MUST roll her. That’s easily false and while Castoria is great, you aren’t gimping yourself by not having her and making the game harder/impossible. You don’t need ANY of the Meta casters to get shit done and the only way you are required to roll for them is if you let randos on the internet tell you
Sorry, but that's bullshit. Castoria is extremely budget-friendly, whereas double-Skadi is one of the most expensive farming strategies in the game. If anything, Castoria is the devs throwing a bone for those who couldn't keep up with the new farming meta
Castoria makes 40% of the arts servants able to loop with someone like Paracelsus as the second support. A bunch of f2p servants, wellfares and spook monsters (like the Cumlord) are now viable farmers thanks to her. Not only that, she´s literally perfect for CQ´s.
If there is a servant to spend money on, is Castoria, not Skadi. That´s what powercreep is about.
@@Assasin2 I disagree with you for one reason: Castoria's Super Ignore Invul Pierce invincibility. I know there are still ways to get around that but I suspect we're going to get a lot of content in the future that's designed to hard counter Castoria comps, and non-Castoria comps will end up suffering too.

The problem for me is that my Kama is NP1. My Jack is NP3. So unless I'm against Alter Egos, I'm more inclined to use Jack.

Kama definitely on my to-get servants from the day I started playing fgo and had to fight some riders in orleans. Stupid wyverns. They were pretty easy, now that I look back on orleans and other singularities from olympus. God, atlantis was easy tho. I started playing about 3 months ago so I don't have any decent supports, so that sucks. Thats probs why I find olympus this hard. Getting castoria would be amazing tho. Kagetora and Hokusai will get to be good
Honestly while she is a primo Servant and anyone who likes either meta or just Kama in general should go for her. I'm probably gonna skip her on the rerun. Its more of me hating her character and her near 100% charm locking having the same taste in my mouth as Mothman and Super Orion. As in being near 1 stop shops to trivialize most content in the game
Don't worry no one really uses qsh much anymore and Kama gets reverse nerfed by all the mental charms in story battles later on.

I got her NP5 surprisingly easily, and I'm very happy for that. I've gotten her skills to 6/10/10, and I'm in a bit of a bind; should I bother getting that first skill to 10 now, or focus on other Servants. I'm leaning toward the latter, but that has the problem of having way, way too many Servants who could use skill leveling in my roster. That's the REAL downside of getting too many Servants...
Honestly, I enjoyed this one. Kind of nice to know that she doesn't simply lose all effectiveness in the age of Castoria. Honestly just gets another weapon and a setup that has its appeal instead of just double Skadi.
Either way, glad I got really lucky with her. A good NP level and she'll be a handy servant to rely on for a long while.

Mhx does massive damage with her np upgrade. Def down and attack up all coming together to do major damage compared to jack and Kama.
I think it was Shiki since she has Arts synergy, is a welfare, has an excellent NP, and has survivability.

Imho only Assasins really comparable to Kama are Shiki (has hard survival, stupid damage, invul pierce, 30% charge and is easy to loop), Old Li (extremely high NP gain, good NP spam despite low hitcounts, extremely burst damage with NPs and crits, invul pierce, hard survival) and King Hassan (way more survival, nearly gimmick proof with proper CC build and more general dps despite having troubles launching his NP often)

Every time I bring up kama all the melt overlords come to tell me that melts better cuz of crits. Lmao
Kama's main real weakness, one not mentioned in the video, is that most bosses get mental debuff immunity post Part 1 to prevent Euryale cheesing (not that the Charm did anything to deter her nuclear damage), so for the main challenge content that counts, Kama's strongest gimmick rarely ever works. Still a good turn-1-instant-NP boss killer, but without that 50% battery she loses most of her bread and butter use.
@@joshuakim5240 i think her biggest gimmick is her alter ego attack bonus. I think the charm is just a bonus since she doesn't need to proc the charm for any dmg bonus. Other than that i think he overcharge skill blows cuz 200% overcharge is only an extra 5%.

Can't really agree with the whole Skadi death thing. Like yeah Castoria is great and all, but does her release directly make Skadi any worse? Double skadi will still be just as powerful as its always been, Castoria just gives players easier art looping options. This fanbase is all or nothing with it's units, if it's not the peak of the meta then apparently it's useless.
For farming it is a bit of a hassle since they like to start throwing smaller formations to throw off looping especially for quick servants.
That's basically what happened to Tamamo with the memes but once people started seeing how well Tamamo combos with castoria it quickly died down. Wu Zetian can do somewhat the same thing with her double buff compared
Skadi always had issues since release like her np being useful in three turns and how fast quick units fall off on damage if thier buffs come off of it while castoria basically has everything going for her with np gain arts up and easy way to charge double np so if you get either castoria cards while looping by the third wave you have use 3 np to do even more damage while not losing any power.
She is still good but the game nerfs her somewhat with strange waves without 3 enemies each time while arts units useally have batteries compared to quick.
Buster wise very slow and harder to 3 turn which is why it's lacking in loops. Only team I could think of that can 3 turn doesn't use Merlin and needs a 50 Percent charge with 3 50 Percent battery units and a mlb kscope for 3 tunes like ereshkigal mlb kscope double waver skadi or something
@@Starsoulklr That still doesn't affect how good double Skadi is in isolation. There are many farming nodes in events with 1-2 enemies per wave, which does affect Skadi. But it isn't something that kills her and takes her away from the meta. Just because there is a better option, doesn't mean make the worse option bad by default.
I gave you what effects Double Skadi effectiveness for farming. I never said anything about it killing her effectiveness for everything whatsoever. She's still perfectly fine for other means.

Which one, Li or Hassan? For either, their damage isn't enough to justify putting them above an Assassin with Kama's utility, or even close for that matter. Heck, if you give Wu Zetian the amount of copies that equals the rarities between 4 stars and 5 stars, Wu's ahead of Li regardless, and Hassan will be above Wu only on guts turns. Wu is still the queen of damage unless you're a crazy person that decided to get 3+ copies of a limited 5 star.

Honestly, I don't like Kama because of the hype and also not intrigued and amazed by her kit because it is a bit of a rehash from the other servants skills. And apparently desire censor/catalyst is strong because my dislike for her is the reason that I got her with my first Multi.
FGO is a joke of a game and you can power through most content with half decent characters. The real prize is the waifus and in that regard Kama delivers and is unlikely to get power creeped in that department. She is still the top tier Sakura face.
I never expect to get her… Skadi\Merlin left me out to dry. The only supreme support who lent me a lap to cry on is Corgi.

Plus Kama is basically in a trio of Character uses of jack mhxx and Kama where each have a use in some way and it's not so simple to say use Kama and that's it. Mhxx does the most damage and jack has some remove buff skills and female damage that comes in handy while Kama is charm and charge as the alter ego thing is beyond niche as ego units hardly come up in story and Farming lowering her use on that angle.
Each lostbelt so far had an alter ego boss fight in them...

Not saying she is bad but her kit doesn't always have uses. Mhx was treated as a joke so much they buffed everything about her and people still think she isn't as good when she can up attack lower defense and crit fast inval with a stronger np. Jack only has half of that but her niche comes up more for it.
That's why I'm saying it's a triangle as not one unit can do everything or use everyone (except space ishtar)

Kama has the AE niche all 3 butcher rider bosses about the same with kama having better team flexibility thx to her battery. In terms of Assassins when jack Lands her anti female it's almost always overkill damage than what you need and the other assassins make the cut it's like a triangle if you have 1 piece you don't need the other 2.

@@ACertainMan yeah that's what people forget. I mean this triangle is hardly brought up as most ignore mhxx doing the best general damage for them.
Another triangle I see is shiki li shuwen and asako where li shuwen does best damage in general but shiki has a charge and asako can loop for better long term damage and sustain. Li is a burst for major damage. Off shoots like Kerry have more hit stars for crits bit he can't np spam much even with castoria.
@@ivanbluecool pre buff mhx she didn't have any damage abilities and her niches were just compensating for that add to the fact that 99% of saber faces were female and that jack had actual damage abilities and you get to see why she was shelved for a very long time.
