Our local University (Oregon USA) has many Chinese students (as well as other nationalities) and our Good Friend "Sunday" from Nanning is actually named Huang Ying. And our many Thai friends have impossible names, so even their families call them short names. We just got back yesterday from spending a week with a Professor Friend in Chongqing (Chunling is my anime cosplay friend - we stayed with her family and their new baby boy!) and 6 weeks in Thailand. Thank you Le Xiao Man for writing me about your name. That is really special. :) I will try to remember.
