The Caddy body was supplied by VW Motorsport in 2008. The roll cage and suspension was build by Piet Westraad . THE Caddy was then completely built by DUPLEX RACE ENGINES Jan Du Plessis. Jan also build the original 16V ABF engine. This engine was replaced by a VW FSI that Jan build in 2019. The engine was rebuild and updated in 2021 by Dave Ingle.

Saw this Caddy at Ferroli and had so many questions about it. It doesn’t have the Centre lock wheels anymore. But epic machine. Had no idea there were vw motorsport caddy’s. Pretty amazing.

Sound great probably a very reliable build, But the power isn't very impressive from the FSI
