brian walters depending on where you are, I’m from Minnesota, I’ve had a lot of luck using a jerk bait next to/inside where there used to be good topwater like Lilly pads that died off because of the cold, or early season just before they grow back.
Nice fish! I definitely know the grind after the past 4 days in iowa. It took me all 4 days and 4 different bodies of water to get 2 nice fish. However I did miss at least 1 fish a day so I wasn't failing completely just not landing them. Not too bad for a west tx boy who usually fishes water in the 60's
Way to grind it out in the cold...separates the fishermen from the fisherboys...looks like the new trolling motor is working great...good thing huh...you should do a review on it for us ... maybe show some of its features..just a thought

Way late, just found the channel and watching older videos. But they make really tiny Lithium battery jump packs now. Barely larger than your typical phone battery bank. Amazon has some for under $100. Probly not a bad idea to have one with you out on the water (I know this isn't a typical problem, but for the negligible space and weight it's a good precaution).
Deceiving title and 'video promo photo' as shown on your pre-video wins you a NEGATIVE! Congrats and enjoy! I expected to see a boat that slid off the trailer as it was being launched on the ramp and broken to pieces, as the advertising video photo showed..

I love watching your videos, I'm a Midwest fisherman myself(WI, IL) so I fish in cold conditions a lot. I think this video is the first time I've seen your partner catch as many or more fish than you. You definitely got the skill, keep up the good work! I envy you, wish I could fish as much as you do.
im glad you take your time launching your boat, because i do that. the only thing is, that people here in california are bassholes and they're always in a rush and act like 5 year olds wanting to fight over launching their boats. i just usually tell them "me no english"...... anyway you got a great channel, keep up the good work!!!

Maybe if you put some rattles on the bait you’re dragging you can get their attention. If you fished it twice before they saw it in the stained water, it might just be they can’t find it

brian walters get ones that suspend and when it gets cold pause them for a few seconds, you'll catch fish

Try a bladebait and a hair jig when it gets really cold, those fish will bite all year long

I like watching your vids so I can learn how to better fish. The only thing I ever catch is baby pan fish. I try for bass but never get them.
