YG are CLASS all the way to the bank, They have swag for days, you know immediately whose label they are with, either as soloist or as group members they stand out. That is why YG has such good artists because they explore all genre's in ten years time when someone looks back they will still remember all that have come from YG. AKMU are phenomenal but don't get near enough praise.

I was sooo excited (also one of the reasons why i immediately became YG stan) and became fanatic about kpop back then. So happy to see AKMU appreciation in here. They honestly sound quite different from all the other YG artists. Not that it's a bad thing for the YG artists to somewhat of a signature style; it's just not always my personal taste. I really love AKMU's music so much. YGE is such a shit company. But I do admire the music the artists there make. They seem creative and free.

YG really is the worst company with the best artists. I stan so many different groups from different companies, but nobody hits like YG artists do. iKON was the first group I stanned and then I also fell in love with the discographies of Bigbang, Winner and Blackpink. We don't get comebacks often, but when we do, they're always masterpieces
There the blueprint and masters of marketing and international connections. They prefer quality if quanity and YG himself are heavily influenced from artist like MJ and his progression in the industry to the point GDs worked with the " this is it" producers for his show, giving them invaluable experience .Bigbang paved way for artist like BTS who took a page from there blueprint and hit mass success when Bb went into hiatus. What YG does works and its not always about the music anymore because there artist are like products, it's how to maximise exposure and shareholders with minimum exposure. You could have blackpink releasing 3 albums a year and constantly promoting shows or sacrifice the music and send them to luxury brands making moves and connections within the industry making hype that way. Calling them the worst is just silly.
@@triggahappyyt5420 couldn't have said it better. The problem is : other companies TRY to follow their steps but fail horribly. so they paint them as the villains of kpop. I'd rather a good once a year comeback than bad 3 times a year music.

LOL like nobody chose og YG songs. Mostly newer shit except Big Bang. It's a shame. Not a single Sechs Kies or SEVEN song. No Brave Brothers. I don't think I saw Gummy on there either. Just one 1TYM song and one Epik High song. Doom Dada didn't even get chosen and it's T.O.P. I guess kids don't really look into K-Pop history. It's a shame they're missing out on so much good music.
I seriously considered choosing Storm by Perry, as I was obsessed with that song when I first found kpop, and it is technically G-Dragon's YG debut. But I ended up going with Lollipop, because we were asked for iconic songs from YG, and I would find people who knew and loved that song in the states more than any other kpop song on my playlist back in 2012. I, too, was very sad that Doom Dada wasn't chosen. I thought for sure someone else would pick it. :(
First off I can’t believe someone put boys by treasure as an best song by YG . It’s pretty average and frankly disappointing coming from YG , mostly because they used to give so much more good and original debut song . And please YG !!! Make IKON BUSY AGAIN WITH ALBUMS AND COMEBACK !!!!!

Sechs kies come to YG since 2016 if Iam not mistaken so they are not OG YG but I agree with others at least one of their song should be there
