- Trimble Park Campground is just outside of Orlando Florida in beautiful Mt. Dora. This park is situated between two lakes and is just 8-9 minutes from downtown Mt Dora. The campground offers 15 sites for RV camping and a group tent area. This campground is only about 35-40 minutes from Disney as well!

Oh you will so enjoy it! We have camped there several times and go back at least once a year! The town of MT Dora is great to explore while you are down there to do the boat tour too!

We just discovered this one ourselves about 15 months ago, and have now been there three times! Have you seen our "3 best places to camp in Mount Dora" video? It came out just about two weeks back, it has more new footage of Trimble Park!

You wore me out at site #11. I was hoping you would show all the campsites.
lol, that because every time I go there I try and stay at site 11 :), site 8 would be my second favorite site and at 2:46 in the video I believe you can see it there if you want to pause it. But site 8 is very nice! All of the waterfront sites are great though! Hope I helped a bit.
Great time lapses, Tom! I’m never up early enough for sunrise. I’ll have to work on that. I watch the sunset every single night I can:-) Every one is different and beautiful!
My time-lapse sunset didn't come out as good, still have to work on it! Trimble Park is a great place and you must do site 11, 8 as a back up plan!

You will love it and April is a great month weather wise for it! There are two boat tours I know of that you can do in downtown, Rusty Anchor I think it is, as well as the Lakeside inn offers boat tours. They stagger there times from each other so you can check on what is best for you. Just make sure the tour you do goes thru the Dora canal, thats what you see in the review, its beautiful. Enjoy, and TY for your support!
April is a great month to be there weather wise! You will love it!
