2003 VRSC 1130cc (69ci/in) w/SE2 Cams, Dyno Tune & a 2:1 CFR pipe. In 13 years having the bike, no other air cooled HD has even come close. The motor spins to 9200 rpm. The powerband starts at 4200, right around where air heads max out. In my experience, Air heads have TQ down low, they have nothing up top & by the end of 2nd gear (5-Speed) I'm passing the most built HD's out there, all with a 30T highway pulley. A 28T pulley is standard for VRSC from the years 2004+. Install a 26T pulley & it'll get ridiculous.
you guys. not a bad pass. soft launch tough. mine is cutting off due to glitches in Harleys ecu...but have ran dozens of 11.45s shutting the revs to 5170 in 4th 5th. doing 6.87 in the 1/8. im ave 1.59-.64 60's this comment section doesnt allow me to show timeslips. and i havent uploaded any vids except a stock pass of 12.20 come down to Atlanta Dragway. looking for some competition.

with a stage 16 cam
and a stage 51 exhaust
with a stage right exit
A stock Fat boy will not out run a stock v-rod period.
V-rod is fast compared with any harley.
I agree. I think stock 103 cube does high 12s. vrod stock around 11.7s

A stock 114 softail can run high 11s on a good day with a good rider. Imo vehicles that run 15s are quick. But everything is relative

Had a V-Rod....it was nice eye candy, it was fast..... but it was a oven on wheels and I was glad to get rid of it 🥵 🔥
