The deal he took was him investing $50,000 of his own money into the company and involving another one to produce the grape flavor . The company grew with us buying the products and Pepsico got interested, It was more complicated than the original deal offered and he paid to do that offer.
Young Buck at least rapped about wearing the shoes even after his 1st album the other members never mentioned G Unit clothing or sneakers after the 1st album run
I’m from Inglewood, California and In my opinion, Buck was the koldest artist from G-Unit. His flow was unmatched to me because he came out the South but had actual BARZ!!! No shot towards southern rappers at all, but most of those artists come with gimmicks and less barz. Young Buck, OutKast and T.I. actually came to the table ready to play and could probably go bar for bar with other artists from the West and East Koast. Salute that Man Buck because he really put in work as an artist.
Young Buck has recently expressed how he felt a way with 50's Reebok and Vitamin water deal. Now there's things about 50 I personally don't like, but I am logical, and I can clearly see why 50 was able to obtain those deals, or the accolades he's obtain period, and it's primarily due to his success that came from his grind. 50 became a boss. Some will say "He's always been 1." 50 put his folk on. Therefore I can see why 50 would want his crew to wear G-Unit sneakers all the time. I can see why 50 felt that Vitamin deal was for him, and not G-Unit. I'll be lying if I said "I comprehend where Buck is coming from." "Make the most out of a suitable opportunity being offered to you." WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

"50 always wanted us to wear the shoes" man even footlocker requires it's employees to Wear only footlocker shoes while working. 50 dint want them to always Wear the shoes, he just required for them to Wear it on high profile events or photo shoots To promote the brand, plus 50 was cutting them checks for rocking g unit shoes and clothes but Instead they was wearing Gucci and shit like that like if gucci was paying them. 50 said this in his book and other interviews.
Right if they not paying why support their brand when you have your own and getting paid for it. Ppl miss the point thats just business not personal

If I’m learning anything from Young Buck’s interview, it’s that don’t ever depend on anyone else to look out for your best interest. 50 gave Buck a platform. It is on Buck to make the most of it instead of being a good cadet.
50 Cent played those guys that was the perfect deal for those guys, a long term investment
He knew deep down they didnt deserve it and they were relevant because of 50’s likeness/brand anyways...it wasnt a deal that made sense for a “group”
50 is watching this & compiling all his memes that he will drop after this interview
His like okay I got him , I’m releasing this tomorrow
50 had a meeting with everybody in a G-unit. He told everybody to look under the table and nobody had on G-unit sneakers. That's why he pull that deal from them. The weren't even rocking G-unit sneakers most of the time and they were getting checks from that. You don't see Lebron wearing Pumas. He's a brand and will advertise his shoe every chance he gets.
Exactly!!!!!!
I'm So Glad You Posted This Comment .. Cause Ppl Forget Easily
That's a lie. Lebron wears Kobe's sneakers as well. Even Jordan wore other players sneakers at one point after having his deal. Stop it with that made up sh**.
Dont matter rocafella had the same deal with Reebok rocafella barely wore those ...kenyon martin did tho lol but yeah prodigy told us !!!
Fuck that if I'm getting a nice ass check for wearing some clean ass shoes I'm not wearing shit else. 50 taught them what being loyal to the max will get u. 50 don’t even get along with his own son ... that says it all right there 🤣🤫🤔
That shirt fly af.
The original deal the water company offered was different than the one 50 did. That deal was no money upfront. The deal he took was him investing $50,000 of his own money into the company and involving another one to produce the grape flavor . The company grew with us buying the products and Pepsico got interested, It was more complicated than the original deal offered and he paid to do that offer.

Buck messed up separating himself from the south when most didn't like how 50 was moving. All the south was coming together around that time
He actually tried not to and told Khaled to play his records then 50 got mad at that too lol
Yea you right he would have been on top by now he moved too fast sign with the. Hating ass devil !

I'll be lying if I said "I comprehend where Buck is coming from."
"Make the most out of a suitable opportunity being offered to you."
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?
Buck sounded pretty salty and jealous on 50.
They had the deal with Reebok and you can't be rocking Nikes in your videos ,on the gram etc. Jordan rocks Nike only for a reason
Exactly imagine lebron wearing adidas

Yea but that's not the whole context, I remember 50 doing a interview, not sure which or have the link, but it was somthing like these guys would want to do these no money upfront deals, but then ask 50 to spot the cash, somthing along those lines. So yes I understand why 50 said no, and it's not like he banned them from doing it, buck just said he would recommend not to, that tells me he just said if you do it it's on you. These dudes seem like they just wanted fifty to take care of them, and that wasnt happening, he brought you to the pond, showed u how to fish weather u do it or not is on you.
Two things can be true he definitely wanted them to depend on him like his kids to an extent just out of pure ego and they definitely were too dependent on him, so I don’t see a moral victory in this case just finger pointing once it all fell to pieces...
I disagree. As the manager 50 had all the necessary means to make a deal beneficial. That's why they return to him anytime they had a deal proposal.
