After subscribing, I've been combing back through your videos. This one was another gem to have on in the background at work. Love the stuff, love the humor. Cheers!
Yes I see what you're saying indeed... they're all great tools as far as build quality, no doubt... I just like to have a bit more than the Kick when it comes to tool options myself, I have nothing against the tool though. I've tried the Blast, but never the Fuse... I might in the future though. Now the Super Tool 300... I love that one actually, and I definitely want to get my hands on a Wingman... that looks pretty promising to me... I love the scissors option. Thank you for watching. =)
Yes I agree... and I don't think it's a bad tool at all, especially when you get for $15... I am just spoiled by my Leatherman Wave I guess. Thank you, I appreciate you watching bro.
Yes it is indeed. $15 for a Kick... I would say that's a great buy on it... makes it a very good tool at that price point I think. For $30 or so, I think it leaves a little to be desired in the way of features... but not quality, the quality has always been there on all Leatherman tools I've tried... the Kick is no exception as I mentioned in the review. Thank you my friend, I appreciate you stopping by and watching! Yeah I don't do stats on blades and tools much... maybe on lights and watches.
I think that's a pretty good deal in the package set indeed... I absolutely love my little Micra, either that or the Style CS stays with me always, love me some scissors handy! I have the ES4 too, I like having the little wire strippers if needed too. All Leatherman's little tools are very good, I can't really complain about any of those. I highly recommend the Wave... that's an excellent tool.
Thank you. Yeah I see what you mean... that does make sense and I would imagine it would work as you described... I'll have to do some experimenting with it, haha. This is actually my first caliper. =)
Hi here in the UK we are not allowed to carry locking blade knives so for light use this is a great tool, also any knife blade that opens from the inside will be on the top when the tool is closed, but i take your point, nice video thanks. PS just seen Dexter lovely dog...
It's a great tool to have around when you need it, this is actually my first caliper... I like it! =) Yeah I agree, spine thickness is important depending on what you're doing with the knife. One of the main reasons I got a caliper is to give people measurements they can't otherwise find online, if they ask... especially with watch case sizes and such. I agree on that line of Leatherman tools, now that you put it that way... it's good they do that for the Euro market indeed.
Calipers are fantastic tools, so very useful. I hate the manual ones though, they're do darn fiddly. You've got a proper goodun though man - digi's the way to go on these. Most professional!
$15 is a great deal on this tool... it is a great quality tool no doubt. I really wish it had some scissors on it though, that's one thing I miss on a tool when not available. I could not really complain about it at $15 though, that changes things a bit.
HAHA! Yeah I'm sort of known for my quick replies here on You Tube... I try to reply to each and every question and comment I get quickly. =) I really like the Charge Ti indeed... great tool! I really don't have a problem with any of Leatherman's offerings in terms of quality and value... they are a great company in my opinion. We all do have our preferences on which tools we like the best, which is why it's cool that Leatherman offers all these choices.
@nofgood4live Yes indeed I would have done that indeed and rounded them off a bit if this was mine, but I just borrowed this tool from a friend for the review.
LMAO! He's a crazy Lab! =) Well thank you for reminding me I wanted one, haha. Yeah I agree... watch cases seem to get measured in all sorts of ways, happens sometimes with knives too. It's good to sometimes see it in video so you know what to expect. The new Aviator G Shock I got seemed a lot larger in the photos, but when I seen it in person it's really only about the size of a Mudman.
I think it is hard to review the Kick without examining the Fuse and Blast along side it. The kick is Leathermans entry level tool and is designed for the minimalist. The Fuse is the middle child with a better knife, scissors and all locking tools while the Blast is really the only one that can go toe to toe with the wave with a chance of besting it. Personally I prefer the Super Tool 300 but I am looking forward to the new Leatherman Wingman and Sidekick that come out this month. My best.
Yeah I know man, that unfortunate that you can't carry a locking knife... some of the knife laws around the world, including here, really suck! Yes I agree, it's a nice tool... I mean quality wise and all. I just have a the Wave and I have been spoiled to that one, lol. I appreciate you watching. Thank you for the compliment on my doggy... I'll tell him you said that, haha!
Yes they are, I've already used it about 5 times already... definitely a useful purchase, and believe it or not... this is my first one. I didn't like the looks of the non-digital ones... seems like they would blow my mind with all the mathematics (LMAO, joke... I'm actually not bad at all at math). But yeah, the digital give you a quick and precise reading, one of the reasons I like my G Shocks too! =)
Blimey that was a quick reply,i dont wish to sound as if i am trying to one up you but i have Sidekick that i like and a Charge Ti that is a great tool but i find to darn heavy to carry i fancy a Skeletool but the price is a bit on the steep side for me now that i am an OAP...Regards..
sucks how certain places just boost prices on certain items... sorry to hear that. That's one thing that pisses me off... when companies boost prices in certain markets... Japan does that with some of their Japanese only G Shocks too... and I want them damnit! LOL. Thank you bro, Dexter is a great friend... he's a little wild at times, like trying to eat our bed... but I wouldn't let him go for anything. =) LMAO... yeah I forgot to make dirty comments... next time! =) Thanks bro, stay sharp!
the leatherman quality is always great. i picked up a kick because it was on sale for $15. its a little disappointing, no outside tools, not as comfortable to use as the wave or charge, imho, its more of a beginners tool, good for emergency use to put in a bob bag, i would not want to use it on an every day basis, another great review chris, i agree with you why do all the stats, my opinion if someone is not smart enough to look up the specs they shouldn't be using the tool, lol
Yes indeed, I've been wanting one for awhile now. LMAO... I like digital precision my friend! =) I don't know, I'll probably just keep saying "people"... it's gone too far now, LOL. I might change it later though, never know. HAHA... it's funny because I've never really had a dog that liked getting baths, this is a first for me. Well I didn't pay $15 for it, it's not even my tool... it was a loaner for review... but $15 is not bad at all.
LOL! True that my brother... true that. I'm too out there to be a sheeple, the sheeple think I'm insane... must be from hanging around helicopter pilots when I was a kid, they're kind of crazy... you have to be a little off to fly a top prop you know, lol. =) I have to give my opinions, good or bad... I don't like telling people something I don't feel. Plus I like to try and help people with their purchases so they get the best for their money too. OMG! Many those are some high prices bro...
HAHA... Shy Guy ran off with some girl, he called about a week ago and wanted me to come pick him up out in Vegas... once I get the money for gas I'm gonna go get him. =) Still sorry about those eyes my friend... I'd send you some new ones if I knew your size, LOL.
HAHA. People keep telling me I have a heavy Texas accent, but I can't tell really since I live in Texas, lol. My wife's friend has a husband from Boston... I can definitely pick out that accent! HAHA. Nice... so you're studying forensics? Good field... I always thought that would be cool to do. You're not going to study forensics then go murder a bunch of people and get away with it right... I mean unless the piss you off of course, LMAO! Well do well with your studies my friend... stay sharp!
People, People, People, Show me all the blue prints, Show me all the blue prints, Show me all the blue prints, Show me all the blue prints, Show me all the blue prints! Hahahaha that's funny :D It's ok man there is nothing wrong with the way you say people.
After subscribing, I've been combing back through your videos. This one was another gem to have on in the background at work. Love the stuff, love the humor. Cheers!
HAHA! The Aviator... love that movie. Plus is has sort of a personal connection to my family.
Thank you... and I appreciate you watching.

@X4CTO at last, a person with a sense of humor. Thanks for keeping it fun around here.
Thank you by the way, I appreciate the compliment!

Well that was a great find... can't beat that price for a Leatherman! =)
Thank you.
Yeah I see what you mean... that does make sense and I would imagine it would work as you described... I'll have to do some experimenting with it, haha. This is actually my first caliper. =)
That's a damn good tool indeed... I do like the Core, lots of useful tools on that one.
