Merry Christmas, Armin. I am happy to see your shoulder has healed enough to shoot these moderate draw weight bows again comfortably. Malta and where I live are very close in Latitude. Here are three seasons: hot and dry, hot and humid, cold with alternating wet and dry. Laminated bows do not do well here without extra special care. Fiberglass and these "cast resin" bows truly excel. I have purchased several such bows on your recommendation. All are excellent. Thank you for this and all your reviews.

A gorgeous shortie .... (man that bow is short) ...I'd love to shoot/or own one of these but I'd hurt my fingers ( I know ... 'toughen up'.... ) but I'm old, so i don't think I'll be called into battle against the oncoming hordes with this thing (I'd just choose a longer bow).... a beauty of a bow (for those that can handle it).
It's odd but I have been comparing 'Bows to Cars' for a while ....
This bow is a Ferrari.... powerful, small, light and needs skill to get the best from it.
Longbows/ Manchu's / Yumi bows are Bentleys or Rolls Royce's... smooth, relaxed and powerful (but not a sports car).
Mongolian/Chinese bows are delivery vans.... Tough, utilitarian... not the fastest or most luxurious , but reliable and dependable.
Korean bows are Mitsubishi Lancers and Subaru WRX... big performance in a small package.
American Indian bows are 'Boy Racer' bows ... fast(ish) and powerful(ish) in a small package, but 'Raw' .... not much finesse, trying to punch above their weight, and often succeeding....
    Yes ... I'm Joking...

You can always use a thumb ring, also Manchu bows are notorious for the handshock, they are more like trucks than rolls.

Thx for this video and thx for your recommandation when I asked you for a short turkish style bow. I was looking it up and wrote to the company, but the communication was so complicated and didn`t work at all (don`t want to mention the comapany here). But then I found some other videos from you, Armin, where you tested Simsek Bows and I contacted them and ordered a Tatar Cagan short plus. The communication so far was over the top! I got pictures from the production, the makers (father and son), informations about details and so on and they answered every Question within a few Minutes, so that I don`t have the slightest doubt I will get what I expected. What shall I say - can`t wait `till I hold it in hands - it takes a little longer for over 45 pound bows, but in arround 5 Weeks I should have it. So thanks again for your Videos and marry Christmas!

Also at the end of the day does the performance of this bow in your opinion justify the almost 700 dollar Canadian price tag?

Nice bow. Looks highly (!) similar to the Okcubaba Turkish bow which is a nice shooting fiber bow, too, and about 130 Euro less. Arif Budiman‘s Turkish bow, that I love and is nicely made, is 200 Euro less. Pricewise, in Europe this bow is significantly more expensive than a Grozer Persian Biocomposite or a Vegh Short Sipahi/Fetih or even the great Que Yue by AF Archery (considering shipping and taxes). These Turkish style bows (laminated) are outstanding and have a longer max draw. In my opinion, Simsek bows are too expensive for what you get. From my experience, short bows are (always) a bit demanding.
