Hey man , im on the hunt for a new baby . I have driven a Suzuki Swift sport before but the steering wheel seemed quite heavy and the acceleration did not feel as wild as my stock Peugeot 206 1.6 109bhp . I’m mostly concerned about the heavy steering . How would you describe yours?
Steering felt fine, probably heavier than most cars but most are over assisted. Steering feel was actually one of its greatest feature. Feels like lotus steering.
@@g60racing bit like Vtec then am looking at these i want a old swift sport as the 2012 plus model doesn’t have a key which is weird not into that stop start nonsense think the older sport has a key does it not too start rather thah a button 🤣
@@andrewjohnson7960 stop start is the engine tech for emissions. the start/stop button is to start and stop the car completely, keyless entry. two different things but yeah
@@andrewjohnson7960 This is 2007, it has a key but keyless entry. You press the button on door to enter. Also to start it has an ignition barrel with a kind of dummy key that you turn. It’s not a very technical car and being simple means it’s easy/cheap to maintain.

Depends on the roads you drive. If small backroads like shown here the Swift is great fun. Open straight motorways get a diesel.

What sort of fuel economy can you expect in mpg around town and on the motorway
It for some reason showed in l per 100km. Would normally show 7.6l/100km which is around 37mpg

It will probably feel slower than your diesel when driving slow as diesel will have more torque, this you need to rev out and be in the right gear.

Stock car as belongs the the girlfriend. Fun to drive though.

Yes it’s 1,6L 125cv
Yes 1.6 Sport, the engine is not very powerful buts it’s a fun car overall that you need to rev.
