I'm an alcoholic and now 11 months sober, it does get easier with time. I quit multiple times and always lied to myself that I got my drinking habits under control after being sober for a couple months, only to relapse with increasing intensity. The only way I managed to stop was to just straight up remove alcohol from my life forever, I swore to myself to never touch another drink, and haven't done so since because ego and stuff. Not saying you have to do that, I don't know you, didn't even know you existed before this video, just wanted to share my perspective, perhaps it helps. Stay strong.

Quitting drinking is rough because it can be like a nice thing you do when you're trying to relax... but it also is a depressant. =/
