Hi Mark- that really is a pretty waterfall! Fun to follow along the trail with you, I enjoyed seeing the rock outcroppings and the trees! Unfortunate that the trail was in rough shape…. Looked pretty darn squishy muddy! 😆🥾🥾 Thanks for sharing! 👍☀☀
The hope was to capture the waterfall in full flow after recent heavy rain. Unfortunately that rain also caused a bit of damage to the trail. A bit harder than expected (needed to hands so not much footage of the damage) but still a good walk.
Perfectly beautiful adventure! Wonderful steps falls indeed...looked like a great place to take a dip and soak the feet! Always something to take the eye! Awesome! Bruce and Otis
Beautiful hike! I love the tropical feel. It's relaxing to watch the water flowing and listen to the sounds of nature. Good decision to take the lookout route instead.. nice views! Thanks for taking us along.

This is such a great place to go for a walk and I like the variation in nature. I love that waterfall, but not the easiest trail to walk along. Previously I lived on the Gold Coast for 18 years, but never heard about this place close to Brisbane. The view from Staples Lookout is wonderful. Thank you for sharing🙂👍
Brisbane Water National Park is lovely place to walk. Warming day but a lot of tree around. Some tree fall but still can walk through. Beautiful waterfall make refresh. I like the tree around here,look different. Enjoy day.
Yes the waterfall was the reason for the walk. I had been there a couple times before but the falls wasn't flowing all that much. I found a new way of getting there so thought it worth the walk after all the recent rain. Finding my way wasn't that hard. The trail had been washed away/damaged/destroyed in parts that made it a bit hard (still not 100% confident with the shoulder) but got there in the end....

Glad to of come across this. Ive been wanting to do the falls walk for some time but would be heading from Staples Lookout and return to the same. Looks like a more challenging walk than most of the ones I have done so far but nothing too difficult.
Yeah I had done the walk from Staples lookout before sand wanted something different. The way from Wondayne was a bit longer and if it hadn't been for the rough track condition would be one I would have recommended. More to see

Thanks it is a great walk. The name of the national park is a bit misleading. The Brisbane Water National Park is actually on the Central Coast of NSW

Boy that trail looked hard to find and what a challenging trail. You could easily get lost but a very nice waterfall. 👍😁
