- This a tribute to the Super Sentai series' that have aired in the past decade (2000-2010), featuring henshins and roll call sequences.
This is my first video and hopefully the first of many. Please leave comments and remarks. Thanks!

you would think that saban would put as much effort into the morphing sequence as the guys who create super sentai.

Continuing from the last one...
In Space: they added the "Morphing Complete" post sign to cover the original "Mega(color) Ready". Also they removed the part that shows OK before showing the rangers helmets. Also, when PRiS shows the close up at the beginning, Megaranger shows the rangers in full body getting the suit on. AND the original henshin of the Megarangers is heavily different to the second one (the one took for PRiS) and it´s closer to the original informatics theme.
They all have claws in their first appearances, but later in the series they don't have them. The claws appear again in the special episodes. As a side note, the first time the Wild Force rangers transformed they didn't have claws, but Merrick/Lunar wolf had them in his first morph. Also, WF is the only series whose morph is directly taken from their sentai counterpart's henshin, with only the faces added later.

After seeing the Power Rangers versions of these changes, it was nice of see the Sentai version of them as well.
Japan did it first, USA uses edited scenes from Japanese versions (mostly fights) and then they add their own stuff in

That's why Power Rangers also more familiar, like Spider-Man, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, Thor in Marvel, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman in DC, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Aladdin, The Lion King, Ariel The Little Mermaid, Mulan in Disney, etc.

This makes me want to watch Gekiranger and Go-onger again, and all the other ones too.

That Guy became my favorite Sentai character when I saw the Crossover Between AbaRanger and DekaRanger.

That was because their helmets were destroyed by Yogoshimacritein at the final battle. He personally stomped on Sosuke's helmet prior to the Go-ongers' roll call.
I'm not suprised at all. They spoke a BUNCH of English words like unbreakable body, honest heart, fantastic technique, iron will, amazing ability (Gekiranger), and last but not least, summon spirit of the earth (Gaoranger)

I never really paid attention to Super Sentai, but now that I see that Hidenori Tokuyama is in Go-Onger, I might watch it. I likee him in Kamen Rider Kabuto as TheBee/Kickhopper.

+GeekusMaximus I'm being serious with my question/inquiry here: I haven't watched Goseiger at all except for maybe the first two episodes (definitely the first), but when is there a Green Goseiger? I know there is Red, Black, Blue, Pink and Yellow with the addition of Gosei Knight as the 6th team member, but where is there a Green Goseiger or is this a running joke?
+Nate F I don't remember the episode, but it was only a cameo. GoseiGreen appeared in a flashback. He died saving GoseiBlue, that's why Blue is the only water-themed Goseiger.

A question. Does the fact that Japan did Power Rangers before America did Power Rangers justify it being better? Because here’s the thing. Power Rangers is made for kids. It was intended to be made for kids. Super Sentai is meant for everyone, hence why they have no problems killing off their rangers every so often.
And make no mistake. Just because Power Rangers is meant for kids, doesn’t mean they can’t tell serious stories. You know, serious stories like:
-Countdown to Destruction: the 2 part finale to “In Space” where an alien invasion happens and people die.
-When Kendrix sacrificed herself to stop Cassie’s morpher from being destroyed.
-When Cole came to the city to look for his parents only to realize that they’re dead and the main villain is the man who killed them.
-When Mack was revealed to be an android and having to come to grips with that reality, ultimately sacrificing himself for humanity.
-Power Rangers RPM, which takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where billions of humans are dead.
And these are just a few. Power Rangers has been doing serious plot elements and storylines since day 1. Sure some are more complex and deep than others, but they are there.

I remember watching this video when it was first uploaded and I thought it was good but could have used the full henshin sequence for Shinkenger. Unbelievable that it was 7 years ago now. I would also suggest going back and making Sentai of the 90s, Metal Heroes of the 90s etc.

Not quite; we're now on Shinkenger's 10th anniversary. (2009-2019)
Those have a several changes compared with their sentai counterparts.
Zeo: The background had the morphers activating, while Ohrangers had it black. Another thing: when in PRZ they say "Zeo Ranger (number+color)", Ohrangers don´t say anything. It´s like in MMPR, when rangers call their totem animals/powers, the counterparts only have the "It's morphing time" equivalent. Also, they altered Gold Ranger's morph (Kingranger's heavily different on the original).

That was so much FUN! Man I miss the days of sentai airing in America; and not just live action Power Ranger sentai. I want animated sentai like Sailor Moon, Ronin Warriors, and Saint Seiya! That was good stuff!

henshin call without helmats became practice at every end of the sentai series but i don't know when it started...as what i've seen, Go-onger, Shinkenger, Goseiger and Gokaiger have done this... :)

Super Sentai start in Japan in 1976 with Himitsu Sentai Goranger...Might Morph start in 1993, the japanese version Zyuranger start in 1992, PR Samurai start in 2011, the japanese version Shinkenger start in 2009, Goseiger (Megaforce) start in Japan in 2010, Gokaiger(Super Megaforce) 2011, Gobuster 2012 and Kyoryuger 2013...so Power Ranger copy Super Sentai.

No, it's the last episode. It's not uncommon for the team to do a helmet-less role call in the season finale. They do put the helmets on in the fight though.
that's because Saban takes the animations and crap from the sentai in Japan and uses it for Power Rangers in the US. He just changes up the story lines and characters obviously.
Geki Ranger is the best!!
I think the reason why gekiranger was so good was that (to me anyways) it was an updated version of dairanger who was more martial arts oriented than the other sentai series. Also i am a pr fanboy but Shinkenger is vastly superior to samurai both in storyline and character development

loopholes. Fact remains, Abarekiller is 5, considered 6, Gekichopper was the same way, yet not considered 6th, the extra Dekarangers ARE Rangers but not part of the main 6, and Go-On Silver is ACTUALLY 7, but still considered 6th regardless of what GokaiSilver can do with merging tricks.
The original point of the argument was this: There ARE more Rangers than the core groups and their proverbial "6th Ranger" slot as most teams are 5 man groups with 3-man starts being popular in recent years.
