I love this review, I don't care how much electronic system in the car because this can be learned later, but I want to see how to use the car in everyday life.
Stumbling upon this in June 2022, this is my exact car down to the interior red stripe and stitch package! Purchased 09/2017 second hand 20k miles from BMW Beverly Hills. Custom order, and a “good engine year” note from my mechanics. Not cheap to maintain but 70k miles later and she still drives like new. Cheers.
I just bought one, (exactly the same as this one, black on black) I used to have the 3 series convertible, the 4 series is much nicer. It is a lot more roomy on the inside than the 3 series
Helweh83 Oh I see, but you should have waited a little longer! They're giving the 2017 4s the new headlamps and taillights (similar to the new 3 series models). But you're the perfect person I can ask some questions for if you don't mind lol. I will most likely be getting the m sports package for the first time on a BMW, have you seen one with it? Does it make the car look more aggressive? The pictures online look different then actually seeing it in person, is the reason I ask. The only negative part to the m sports package is they won't allow you to retain the jet black color, which is what we currently have on our 3 and 5 models. I'll be forced to go with black sapphire metallic.
They had one in the show room when I was at the dealership, I don't know if you would say it looked "more aggressive" it was white with bone color interior. It definitely looked nice though.
Folding contraptions are scary, because it brings back a bad memory. I was folding up this lawnchair, and it would not fold, and this kid was screaming. And I finally looked at him and realized his finger was stuck in the metal ... well, he did not lose his finger, and no blood, but still, remember that scream. .. you buy this car, and you have kids, they will play with it.... needs more sensors, more intelligence... some kid, or drunk, sticks his arm there or there.... should automatically stop.... have to pass on this, as lovely as it is to behold.

What would you say its downsides are or you should have done?
i am certain that the 4 series allows you to be moving while putting the top up/down at up to 20km/h
