- It only seemed natural that Jaime Ponce de Leon, a true blue Dumagueteño, would end up in the exciting yet challenging world of art auctions. All paths from the time he started as an interior designer were slowly but surely going that way as he sourced paintings and elegant furniture for his clients, eventually developing a tight mentor/mentee friendship with foremost antique collector, the late Teyet Pascual. His practice of buying for his clients and disposing of pieces they chose to change became the kick-off point to auctioneering.
