@@7dana474Yep. This will be so gamebreakingly powerful that killers who want to play nice will likely be forced to proxy camp or just immediately lose games in a ton of cases now.
Don’t forget that if someone is running vigil, that Shoulder the Burden exposed time goes down to 28 seconds. Even the person on hook can run it. Another shadow buff to vigil lets goooo
they should add a few more conditions to shoulder the burden such as, the perk itself cannot be used on a survivor who already got unhooked with this perk if it doesn't do that already, the survivor who unhooked using this perk screams and has there aura revealed to the killer for a certain amount of time or they become the obsession and get their aura revealed instead.
No, they don't need to add more conditions to an altruistic anti tunneling perk that exposes for you a not insignificant amount of time. What they should actually do is add in more base kit features to reward the killer for not tunneling, and punish them for doing it anyways. It's a cancer on the gameplay that they have been trying to bandaid for years
Shoulder the burden will be abused heavily by SWFs, but be completely unused in SoloQ because it punishes the user. People are selfish, when did you see Babysitter or Borrowed Time on a random teammate? And those two don't even hurt the user.
They keep making perks that are actively terrible in solo and are game-breaking in a somewhat coordinated SWF. Even just a pre-game lobby discussion about what perks to bring is a massive deal, if we made it so survivors see each others' builds we'd be able to buff lesser killers and their perks more so they are actually lethal. Allow survivors to see each others' perks, in return killer gets a base-kit repair speed penalty while a survivor is on hook, and the longer they are on the hook the stronger the penalty becomes, disincentivizing leaving people on for 69 seconds.
@@pocketdust2450When was the last time you’ve seen a SWF run Babysitter or Borrowed? As much as the people complain that these perks will be used by SWFs, the actual amount of SWFs running these perks are low. Simply because there are better perks
@@daniels2745 I am talking about buffing solo so we can nerf survivor in a way that reduces the peak power (SWF) and increases lowest power (solo) of survivors. You could also add in-game chat for survivors that again boosts solo and does nothing for SWF which again warrants killers for an other buff. The goal is to buff solo and nerf SWF, and by buffing base survivor in a way that does not affect SWF we can also impose a global survivor nerf or killer buff as a compensation.
@@pocketdust2450 BHVR has released all of the stats and absolutely nothing looks out of place. Killers win more matches, four man SWF's are less than 4% of the games played, and there is an 8% difference in survival rates between a solo player and a full SWF. What are you even complaining about? The games you have lost as a killer, are not due to 4 man teams. Statistically full 4 man SWF's are almost irrelevant because out of those 3.7% of games, not all of those people will even be sweating and try harding. Your complaints are just unfounded based on the stats. Not to mention, playing solo is the best it has ever been. We have tons of info now as a solo that we never had in the past. In game chat would be the absolute worst. It would turn solo's into group play?!?! Like what are you even suggesting here? Your entire complaint is that SWF's, who's only advantage is communication, are just too powerful. But now you want to give that to everyone? That is horrible. If I could tell my solo queue players that he is camping, just finish the gen....that would ruin everything about the game.
We’ll have to see how strong she feels once her bugs are sorted, but it feels like if Portia hits a “snugged” survivor, she should get more of a reward. Maybe that reward could be that the survivor is hindered for some amount of time. This would mean survivors who were snugged end up making less distance after being hit when compared to a normal M1.
More than likely the devs will wait a bit and then buff them. Not Shoulder the Burden of course, as it's clear the exposed effect is here to stay. Might get reduced to 30 seconds but that's it.
@@rystalmelody5052 killer sided in low mmr but survivor sided in high mmr; and when you add SWF to the mix- it makes the game extremely difficult to balance.
Oof Shoulder the burden is not going to be used much. What I would've done was give killers a hook state on the hud. This is because it doesn't remove the hook simply transfers it to another. Allowing killers to have better hook state tracking would be better then causing a healthy survivor to trade as if they were doing something stupid like rushing a hook while injured. I think that made a neat little ideal perk, but are not implementing it properly. Give killer hook hud and remove expose think that would be better for game.
“Shoulder The Burden” needs a different detriment, make it hinder you for 20 seconds or something, the exposed status effect will just encourage hook trading.
Whyyyy more time being exposed it was okay at first now they wanna put it to 40-60 seconds like this game creator gotta understand that no matter what they do to "help" survivors out they're going to get tunneled out even with anti tunnel perks they're still going to end up tunneled
